The CNA officially presents itself as a defender of Chicken civilians, operating under a banner of resistance against authoritarian rule and extremism. Initially established as a collection of anti-Magpie State groups, it quickly evolved into a multi-faceted alliance with conflicting agendas. Though heavily reliant on Raven Union support, the CNA claims to act independently and to uphold the values of freedom and self-governance.

The CNA’s operational methods include guerrilla warfare, propaganda campaigns, and securing territories in disputed regions. Its decentralized nature makes it adaptable but also prone to infighting, accusations of corruption, and controversial actions on the battlefield.

Composition
The CNA is composed of a variety of armed groups, each with its own leadership, goals, and strategies. While they are loosely coordinated under the CNA umbrella, many factions operate semi-autonomously.

Background

The CNA has occasionally extended its operations beyond Chicken's borders, targeting Magpie State-affiliated groups and supporting Raven interests in neighboring regions. These actions have drawn accusations of acting as a proxy force for the Raven Union.

Internal Conflict
The CNA’s decentralized nature has led to frequent power struggles among its constituent groups. Rivalries over territory, resources, and ideology have often resulted in violent clashes, weakening the CNA’s overall cohesion and effectiveness.
