NOTE: YOU WANT TO ALWAYS BE HOLDING W IN THIS GAME, UNLIKE SOURCE.

What to do:
In mid air
  • Simply hold W
  • Do NOT strafe with A&D, simply holding W and moving your mouse will give you 100% sync.

Sliding on the ground
  • Hold W
  • Strafe left & right with A & D
Tech
Slide Release Jump
Right before sliding off an edge, uncrouch/unslide to do a tiny jump. Useful to reach nearby platforms without committing to a lot of air-time.

Short Jump
Uncrouch/slide and quickly jump for a shorter jump than it would otherwise be jumping straight from a slide.

High Coyote Jump
Uncrouch/slide right before falling, and jump during coyote time to get more height than usual. Timing is very strict so it's a bit hard to pull off.

high coyete jump is life saver for me (and for me, it's not hard at all)

@Skellybob56, I'm not sure what the best way to handle slides are. You always want to be holding W, but wheter or not you AD strafe also seems to be personal preference. Play with it and see what works best for you!

Would like an addition for surfing mechanics, am used to CS surf and kinda confused as to whether movement keys effect surfing at all in this game!
