HowTo: Change your mouse sensitivity

Sadly SE2 does not have a mouse sensitivity slider in its settings yet. Thus you have to change it manually.

Reminder: It is usually a good idea to backup files before manually altering them:

Open the following file with a raw text editor (i.e. Windows Notepad, Notepad++, Sublime Text etc, but do NOT use Word etc as this could corrupt the file)
...\steamapps\common\SpaceEngineers2\GameData\Vanilla\Content\System\Input\Input Adapters\CharacterInputAdapter\CharacterCompositeInputAdapter.def
and change the line
"MouseControlInputValueCoefficient": 0.002
higher values make the mouse faster / sensitivity higher, lower values make the mouse slower / sensitivity lower.
