Overview
Reading about Revenant being not viable on Insane difficulty, I'd thought I'd share some experience and knowledge.

Niflheim - insane

General idea
- Move from objective to objective as fast as you can
- Use your dash as often as you can
While playing, listen to the rumble of Thor's Thunderstorm that is the queue to use dash
- Early game you want to move to enemies as standing close hits them with more arrows. At the same time you are close enough to pick up the xp gems
- If a chest spawns, get it asap as you need banish and rerolls

Pre-game: where to put your skill points:
- All passive skills from the gods
- Thor: evolve Lightning strike and Thunderstorm
- Loki: evolve Vipers
- Revenant: all passive skills and evolve for Heart Seeker and Focus Fire
Do not put points in Soulshard, Necrotic Rain and Grappling Web as we won't be selecting it

What bow to select
- My favourite is the default Winterbow, as sometimes I'm overwhelmed by close by enemies Glacial Spike freezes enemies.

During the game select objectives
- I never select Runners, as they end up all over the place
- I never select Mushrooms, too many and takes too long
- Braziers, easy
- Graves of the Chieftains -> open the graves first then kite all 4 across the map
- Portals -> move across the outer ring of the circle (more xp)
- Rune puzzle -> can be done fast
- Sacrificial Pylons -> relative easy, circle near to the pylon
- Graves of Jarls -> I tend to avoid this one, their fire missiles hurt (a lot)
- Nithstangs -> relative easy, circle near to the pole

During the game what skills to select:
- One targeting skill - Focus Fire
- Two nearby damage skills - Heart Seeker and lightning strike (Thor)
- Two longer range damage skills - Vipers (Loki) and Thunderstorm (Thor)

At first level:
- Select your class and banish two non-wanted class skills
- If you can: banish Freya

When you level:
- If offered a choice give priority to your class first and then god
- If God select in this priority: Thor, Loki and then Odin

At skill selection:
- Try to get one level of each active skill, you can have max 5 active skills
- Once you have one level in each active skill, fill up your passive skills

At level 10 subclass
- Undying is my favourite as it gives a small heal (3%)
- I don't select Beastmaster as I don't select wolf's skills
- I never select Marksman, as I won't be standing still

Which passive skills to select with Revenant:
- Volley - more arrows in each attack +5 /+7
Volley is your top priority, as each arrow is an attack and can trigger an additional effect
- Through and Through -> increase passthrough chance (20%/25%/30%)
- Cold embrace -> chance to freeze enemies with each attack (15%)
- Blighted tips -> chance to freeze enemies with each attack (15%)
- Aimed shots -> increase attack damage (+15%/30%)

Skills to avoid with Revenant
- Any wolf related skill: Chilling bite etc
- Any dash related skill:
- Light-Footed -> I don't need more speed

Loki
- Stacked and loaded I, II -> bonus chest reward and skill choice (15%/30%)
- Nasty tricks -> Change to inflict random damage on each attack (12%)
- Gamblers luck -> Crit damage (+30%)

Thor
- Explosive nature -> chain lighting on each attack (15%)
- Devastating Hit -> increased crit and crit damage (10%/35%)
- Blows of Jarngreipr -> Stun and knockback with each attack (15%)
- Might of Megingjord I, II, III -> Increase god skill damage (+12/+24/+36)

Odin
- Worthy opponent -> increase all damage, especially elites (+5%/+25%)
- King of gods -> higher damage and crit
- Rune Mastery -> Double cast skill on single cooldown (+5%)

Normal chest priority
- Banish - you want to increase the chance of offered a priority skill
- Reroll - you want to increase the chance of offered a priority skill
- Haste buff (70s) - getting faster from one goal to another
- Bless and other buffs
- I never select gold (the gold offered is minimal)
- I never select magnet (it only pulls nearby xp gems)

Boss chest priority
- Regeneration -> 5% HP per second => this is so good endgame
- Class skill upgrade
- God skill upgrade
- Charm of Aesir => ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ +20%, it can stack
- Charm of Men => Class skill damage +20%, it can stack

At Insane difficult with Time Rush I usually end up at lvl 27 to 29.

Muspelheim - Insane
Endgame there are many bramble bushes on the field. You need a permanent close range aoe to deal with them. This is where Freya's Divine Wave comes in. Boost the damage of this active skill with her Radiant Echo and your ok.

At the end game: don't dash, just walk, as you will dash into an enemy and take damage. Focus on your path towards the objectives. Take out the artillery while you are at it.

- Ban Loki
- Freya active skill: Divine Wave <= most important!
- Odin active skill: Local Ragnarok
- Get active skill Focus Fire
- Get two active Revenant skills: Focus Fire and Heart Seeker

Passive skills: Freya
- Clairvoyance +17% experience
- Godlike appeal +50% pickup range
- Guidance - increase damage from class skills +30/+60%
- King of Gods - +5% crit chance / + 10% damage
- Radiant Echo Double Cast +7%/+14%/+21% <= most important!

Passive skills: Odin
- Rune mastery - double cast +5% <= most important!
- Sleipnir's Speed - Increased attack speed +10%/+20%/+30%

Passive skills: Thor
- Blows of Jarngreipr +15% stun
- Devastating hit +10% crit hit chance +35% crit damage

I usually end at lvl30 with about 1 minute left on the map before I do the boss.
