I feel you mate. It's still a solid game but in Terms of Humankind Lite. It is certain fun to play and it's got that one more turn momentum, like Humankind, but by far it's not a legit Civilization.
I dumped like 1.500 hours in Civ 1, 2.000 in Civ 2, only 200 in Civ 3, like 6.000 in Civ 4, only 150 in Civ 5 and 1.500 in Civ 6. I estimate I will dump like 150 hours into Civ 7 for achievement completion and that's it. There's something odd about those prime numbers after 2. That would mean the next crappy release will be Civ 11.
I feel very similiar to that. I have now dumped almost 30 hours into this. It certainly got that one more turn momentum. It's not a bad game at all, but just no real Civilization. Still disapointed. Age transitions are very demotivating and the lack of detail and micro management doesn't help in this. To it's still more of a Humankind Lite than a blockbuster Civilization. I will continue to play this game for achievements, but that will be all. I don't think I will do marathon sessions on this like I did with Civ VI.
thank you as well. Happily accepted your request.
I'm glad it worked for you
