This guide provides step-by-step instructions to optimize Spore without Galactic Adventures or MODAPI. It covers downgrading to an older version, applying a 4GB memory patch, unlocking 120 FPS, and installing graphical improvements such as Sneky Graphics Mod and Groxxy's HD Textures. • Do NOT download Spore Galactic Adventures and Spore Creepy & Cute Parts.

• Press Win + R and type: "steam://open/console/"
  
• Open Steam, where a new Console tab appears.
  
• In the console, type:
  download_depot 17390 17391 6504940830698406585
• Do not do anything! Wait for a successful download.

• Navigate to your Steam folder:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps
• Go to:
  content\app_17390\depot_17391
• Copy all contents of this folder.
  
• Go back to:
  common\Spore
• Paste the older Spore files and REPLACE ALL existing files.

• Download the patch from: https://ntcore.com/4gb-patch/
  
• Place the file in:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Spore\SporeBin
• Run the patch and select SporeApp.exe.

• Navigate to:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Spore\Data\Config
• Open Properties.txt and add this line at the end:
  property frameLimitMS 44 int
• Save the file.
  
• Open ConfigManager.txt and add this line at the end:
  intProp frameLimitMS 8
• Save the file.
  
• If you have trouble editing the files, open Notepad as Administrator and access the files from File -> Open.
