Crusade of Varna

What if the Crusade of Varna was successful? This mod is set in a scenario where instead of the Ottomans winning the Battle of Varna and killing Wladislaw III, the crusaders were successful, capturing the Sultan.

This period of Polish dominance cannot last forever, however. The Hungarian nobility is growing tired of taking a backseat to Poland in the union, and rebellion is inevitable. Are you able to reverse the collapse of this Union, or will Poland once again be divided between it's warmongering neighbors.

With no embargo by the Ottomans, Western traders are free to continue their trade with the East unimpeded. While they may be satiated temporarily, the allure of gold will bring explorers in due time. A particularly crafty ruler may be able to gain a significant advantage, if they're willing to take the first plunge.


Focus trees and other things are not changed for compatibility, as I made this for a modset. Feel free to use it however, I made this so it should be compatible with most mods.

Some other changes to the map have been made for balance/historical accuracy. Most European majors start in a weaker position, except for Poland.
