--- History (Source: Wikipedia) ---

The Grand Trunk Western U3b was a class of 4-8-4 Northerns (The GTW called them Confederations) built in February of 1942. The U3bs worked as a Mixed Traffic Locomotive, handling Passenger & Freight Services. With GTW 6322 being the last steam locomotive to run on the GTW, with 6325 being restored to operation for excursion service at the Ohio Central, 6325 is now on display at the Age of Steam Roundhouse.

6325 Return to Steam covers the former Grand Trunk Western 4-8-4 #6325's inaugural excursions for new owner Ohio Central. As an added bonus, you will see 2 seperate break-in runs, as the crew makes modifications and tests the locomotive. Then it's the first public excursions in the fall of 2001 operating on the line between Columbus and Dennison. Multiple camera coverage documents the best action on these test runs and first excursions for this the largest operating steam locomotive east of the Mississippi River in the United States.
