Born in the underground areas of Octo Canyon, The cousins Bonnie and Tyler grew up surrounded by the rigid and militaristic teachings of their kind, from a very young age, they were taught to follow orders and prepare for battles just like all other Octarians at the time.
One day while working at one of the radio stations, Bonnie learned about the surface world and stuff that happens there, a place where there was no need for actual fights or mandatory military training, always telling Tyler about everything, which sparked on both a dream of leaving their current life in the underground behind.
Their chance came when the first Octarian Exodus started, Bonnie saw this as the perfect opportunity, practically dragging Tyler along. Despite his more cautious nature, he couldn’t leave his cousin alone. Knowing she would not give up of that idea, he decided to go to the surface as well.
