Description
Wormwood the Value Monster
The original skill tree design was decent, but the values were too low. This mod doubles all the skill tree values, strive to become a LUNAR version of Maxwell...
  • Plant Line
    Double the number of all plants crafted with the Grafting Hand.
  • Mushroom Line
    Doubles Mushroom Planter growth speed, max yield, Moon Shroom Cloud radius, and Ipecaca Syrup duration.
  • Bramble Line
    Doubles tending range, Compost Wrap usage speed, Bramble Trap reset speed, and Bramble Husk trigger rate.
  • Photosynthesis Line
    Doubles bloom speed, fertilizer effects, insulation while blooming, bloom cap, and health regeneration.
  • Left Affinity Line
    Doubles pet crafting and maximum count.
  • Right Affinity Line
    Doubles Brightshade vine damage and vine summon chance from Brightshade weapons.




New Skill Tree
If you're still not satisfied, you can turn on the option in configuration, and try my newly designed skill tree: enhanced root skills, each line merges one filler/redundant skill and adds an new ultimate skill.

  • Root Skill
    • Seed Sleuth :Allows Wormwood to find random seeds from murdered bird corpses.
  • Planting Line
    • Merges two Berry Bush Crafting skills
    • Adds Fertilizer Spread : When Wormwood self-fertilizing, it will also fertilize nearby wilting plants. Plants fertilized in this way will be protected by Wormwood and will not be infested by Deadly Brightshade or Gobbler, and can be pick quickly. You can add dry and wet materials into an already full composting bin. The excess will be converted into Super Compost Wraps (with 10 times the fertilizing power).
    • Fertilize and grow berries and twigs early, then use them to craft Super Compost Wraps later for a self-sustaining loop.
  • Mushroom Line
    • Merges two Mushroom Mastery skills
    • Adds Musteroom's Tophat : Wormwood can use red, green, and blue Funcaps(or Caps + Shroom Skin) to crafting a stacked Funcap, inherit and enhance the effects of the original Funcap. When equipped, the stacked Funcap allows you to mimic the Toadstool's skill, launching mushroom bomb attacks on enemies, sprouting Sporecap trees to absorb damage, and releasing heading spores to increase movement speed.
  • Bramble Line
    • Merges Farmhand and Compost Care skills
    • Adds Friendly Spiny : Nearby Spiny Bindweed will assist Wormwood in battle. Spiny Bindweed and Bramble Husk and Bramble Trap may drop a Spiny Bindweed Sapling when destroyed.
    • Infinite Bramble Army!
  • Photosynthesis Line
    • Merges two Growth Spurt skills
    • Adds Crazy Growth : When fully bloomed, petals accumulate during the day to restore hunger and drop automatically at the limit; a razor can clear them instantly. At night, glowing petals appear beneath you(Permanent Illumination!). On death, you revive with full stats, healing allies, harming enemies, and spawning petals based on your bloom level.


True to its name Changes
It’s unclear what the names of the two affinity skill trees mean, so I’ve added corresponding effects based on their names.

  • Lunar Cultivator (Left)
    • Lunar Cultivator I: When you equip the Garden Hoe or Splendid Garden Hoe, Carrats will help you quickly and automatically till soil, plant seeds, water, dig weeds, and tend crops; when you equip the Brightshade Shoevel, their farming actions will be performed in batches, and they will help you sow seeds according to specific ratios.
    • Lunar Cultivator II: When the maximum number of Bulbous Lightbugs are summoned, they will provide nighttime sunlight for crops (and enable Wormwood’s photosynthesis).
    • Lunar Cultivator III: When you equip the Garden Hoe or Splendid Garden Hoe, Saladmanders will harvest crops, deal AOE damage, and are especially effective against Fruit Flies; when you equip the Brightshade Shoevel, they will also attack from range and deal additional planar damage.

  • Lunar Guardian (Right)
    • Lunar Guardian I: When you equip the Bramble Husk, you gain a bramble aura that causes reflected damage when nearby teammates are attacked; when you equip the Brightshade Armor or Brambleshade Armor, the bramble aura will also deal additional planar damage.
    • Lunar Guardian II: The Brightshade Staff can now also summon vines when attacking.
    • Other: Now while wearing Brambleshade Armor, you can seize foes and keep them rooted in place (not sure why the KL's version didn’t include this effect).
