Immediately set all glory increases to WILLPOWER-ONLY (press button in the bottom right until it says WIL).

Try buffing all ur summoning powers (idk whats good just try to get at least a few levels in grove cult early and then dump the rest into star cult after getting everything else).

Since the meditate stacks from star cult increase briar mage's across-the-map entangle stack damage, and since you get meditate each time you summon, you can basically create an ICBM system that does so much entangle damage from the meditate stacks that normal enemies instantly die the moment you enter a room.

Get into a corner and spam spacebar until the area is cleared. Pray only if needed, because if you get into close-quarters then divine intervention will be needed to cover your retreat.
