How to get the mods for this list
Most of the mods on this list can be gotten from the steam workshop, however two require using nexusmods/vortex mod manager. (this is what i used)

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/784080/workshop/ (Steam workshop link for MW5:MERCS)

https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex (nexus mods mod manager)

https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/537 (this is a non-steam mod, required for setting options for mods in game)

https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/922 (this is the 2nd non-steam mod, required for setting up the correct load order)

Once you have succsefully downloaded and installed those 2 mods its time to go to the steam workshop to get the rest

Using mod organizer
At this point,

both mod organizer and mod options should be downloaded and installed from vortex.

You should be subscribed to all of the steam workshop items listed in the previous section.

open MW5:MERCS mod organizer (after extracting it and opening the non .zip version of it)

C:\Users\*yourusername*\Downloads\MW5 Mod Organizer-922-2-4-0-1721696014 is where mine ended up

once you open it, it should look like the screenshots provided but with no mods present. you have to tell it where your files are so follow image 2 and open the options which appear in image 3.

set primary folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries\MW5Mercs\Mods

set secondary folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\784080

Mods should now appear inside of mod organizer.

Each mod has 2 assigned numbers, black is the current place in the load order, green is the required place in the load order. if it has a load order of green 0 then it needs to be placed before anything else. Current load order in picture is correct load order. Ignore Community Asset Bundle it causes issues.

~ This loadorder is generated by MW5 Mod Organizer. ~

Turning mods on IN GAME
Okay youve installed our 2 non-steam mods from vortex, youve grabbed everything required off of the workshop, youve organized and deployed your mod load order with MW5:MERCS mod load organizer.

If the above statement is true launch MW5:MERCS, and then select the MODS button (img 5)

Make sure to click the check boxes on all of the items we have just downloaded and organized (img 6) and then hit apply.

At this point exit and restart your game and it should re-open with everything enabled, in the proper load order, with no conflicts.

Resolving Conflicts
YAML has an entire article on resolving conflicts with mods and it basically comes down to the load order concept explained prior. i haven't had any crashes or issues with this load order beyond slight lag on specific mission times that include large amounts of mechs when they spawn. When you boot the game up with the mods loaded for the first time its going to take up to 5-10 minutes to load as it loads everything and its going to look like a black screen or a screen that's mostly black but you can faintly see the start screen, just be patient. (I tested mine with a stopwatch and it took 2 minutes 12 seconds)

Once it loads above the start game it'll either say MOD LIST BROKEN or it wont if it doesn't say mod list broken you're good to go. (Img 4 is an example of what the start screen should look like if you are successful)
