With the war with the factorum continuing the ESDF high command and materials administration decided to roll out an update of the existing flight 3 of the Valour class battlecruiser in the form of the flight 3B which aims at making the ship primarily lighter for better thrust to mass performance during combat and planetary operations which included the removal of its large refinery in favour of 2 basic refinery and the change to its rear landing pad to a similar type based of the flight decks of the retribution carriers.
other changes include a redesign of certain parts of the ships internal conveyors to give the ship more redundancy as well an increase in fuel capacity and the addition of an AI defender for automatic target locking onto enemy targets.
