Patch that adjusts Ava’s Armory weapons to fit in seamlessly with Vanilla Weapon Overhaul.

The following load order is important due to oddities with how cut/replace patches work with weapons:
1. Vanilla Weapon Overhaul
2. Ava’s Armory
3. Ava’s Armory VWO Patch
Any other arrangement of these 3 mods will cause either all vanilla weapons or all Ava’s Armory weapons to disappear.
Also, I marked the mod as incompatible with vanilla creature graphics as a reminder to disable it and allow for Ava’s Armory graphics to take effect.

General Changes:
1. Removed flat slaps from all weapons
2. Adjusted equip requirements to standard VWO numbers
3. Pommel Strikes & Shaft Bashes adjusted to VWO numbers
4. Adjusted prep/recovery times to create a notion of reach

Prep/Recovery Times:
6:6 - cannon
4:1 - stiletto, falchion, pistol bash, & pommel strikes
3:3 - arming sword
3:4 - claymore hilt bash
2:1 - poleflail shaft bash
2:3 - saber, sidesword, rapier, other shaft bashes
2:4 - goedendag, claymore
2:5 - bastard sword, doru spear pierce
1:3 - billhook hook
1:5 - doru spear stab, swordstaff, billhook, polehammer, poleaxe, poleflail flail

Dagger Skill:
Stiletto - Fast stabbing implement.
Uses dagger skill instead of sword, stab velocity from 1.25x to 0.8x, contact area from 17 to 6

Sword Skill:
Falchion - Slashing-focused equivalent of the short sword with fast attacks but bad stabs.
Size from 330 to 300, stab velocity from 1 to 0.9, stab contact area from 45 to 40

Arming Sword - The standard one-handed sword.
Slash velocity from 1.25 to 1.2, stab velocity from 1 to 0.95, stab contact area from 60 to 10

Bastard Sword - I could make this two-handed but it’d be a lot like the longsword, so instead I decided to keep this as an XL one-handed sword, powerful but slower.
Removed the half-sword stab since this is likely to get used with a shield, slash velocity from 1.25 to 1.4, stab velocity from 1 to 1.2, stab contact area from 10 to 11

Saber - Fast-attacking lengthy sword specializing in slashing.
Slash velocity from 1.25 to 1.15, stab velocity from 1 to 0.9, stab contact area from 35 to 12, handguard strike velocity from 1.05 to 2, handguard strike contact area from 130 to 100

Sidesword - Fast-attacking lengthy sword, acts as a middle ground between Saber and Rapier.
Slash velocity from 1.25 to 1.05, pierce velocity from 1.05 to 0.85, pierce contact area from 35 to 9

Rapier - Fast-attacking lengthy sword specializing in stabs.
Slash velocity from 1.25 to 0.95, pierce velocity from 1.05 to 0.85, pierce contact area from 20 to 8

Dwarven Longsword - Renamed to Claymore and reworked into a broader two-handed sword.
Added bashing with the hilt: passable blunt attack.
Removed half-sword stab on account of it being too similar to regular stabs, slash velocity from 1.25 to 2.45, slash contact area from 50,000 to 100,000, slash penetration depth from 6,000 to 10,000, stab velocity from 1 to 1.5, stab contact area from 45 to 15, stab penetration depth from 2,500 to 4,000

Spear Skill:
Doru Spear - Broad-headed spear whose stab has more contact area than the regular spear, but also has a lower contact area spike it can use for better penetration at the expense of slower speed
Size from 420 to 350, stab contact area from 35 to 11, pierce velocity from 0.95 to 1, pierce contact area from 10 to 9

Ahlspiess - Renamed to swordstaff, two-handed spear-like weapon good at both slashing and stabbing.
Added hammering with the guard: hammer-like pseudo-blunt attack.
Slash velocity from 1.25 to 2.3, stab velocity from 1 to 1.6, stab contact area from 60 to 15

Axe Skill:
Billhook - I wish I could make the hook attack a type of grapple, but in the absence of that I’ve opted to make it a weak harassing attack that can chain quickly into other attacks.
Added stabbing, slash velocity from 1.25 to 2.2, hook velocity from 0.1 to 1

Poleaxe - Compared to a halberd it eschews the beak for a hammer. This hammer is more maul-like compared to the Polehammer’s version: more contact area and momentum.
Hammer converted to pseudo blunt, hammer velocity from 1.8 to 4, hammer contact area from 20 to 18, slash velocity from 1.25 to 2.2, slash contact area from 12,000 to 20,000, stab velocity from 1 to 1.5, stab contact area from 20 to 14, stab penetration depth from 5,000 to 2,000

Hammer Skill:
Polehammer - Has the most efficient blunt attack for armor penetration as well as a beak attack similar to the halberd’s.
Hammer converted to pseudo-blunt, hammer velocity from 2.2 to 3.6, hammer contact area from 10 to 11, stab velocity from 1 to 1.5, stab contact area from 20 to 14, stab penetration depth from 5,000 to 2,000, beak attack is referred to as a strike rather than a stab, beak velocity from 1.1 to 2.2, beak contact area from 25 to 20, beak penetration depth from 5000 to 2000

Mace Skill:
Goedendag - A two-handed mace-spear weapon.
Size from 400 to 450, bash converted to pseudo-blunt, velocity from 2.2 to 5, contact area from 22 to 14, stab velocity from 1 to 1.5, stab contact area from 10 to 14, stab penetration depth from 4,000 to 2,000

Poleflail - Less efficient distribution of force compared to the Maul, but has reach and effective shaft bashes
Flail velocity from 2.5 to 6.5, flail contact area from 100 to 75, shaft bash velocity from 1.25 to 3, shaft bash contact area from 15000 to 25

Ranged Weapons:
Musket - Highly effective against armor and more accurate than other firearms, but reloads very slowly
Bash velocity from 0.1 to 1.25x, bash contact area from 10,000 to 100, shot force from 100,000 to 5,000, max velocity from 10,000 to 5,000. 8 aim difficulty, 120:60 reload time, 1 shot time

Pistol - Lacks power and accuracy compared to the musket, but reloads slightly faster and is one-handed
Shot force from 75,000 to 3,000, max velocity from 7,500 to 3,000. 10 aim difficulty, 100:50 reload time, 1 shot time

Cannon - Powerful but heavy and difficult to move around, reload, and aim
Shot force from 250,000 to 15,000, max velocity from 25,000 to 15,000. 14 aim difficulty, 140:70 reload time, 10 shot time.

Grenade Launcher: The grenade creates fire in an area, setting flammable material ablaze.
Bash contact area from 10,000 to 100. 12 aim difficulty, 120:60 reload time, 1 shot time

The grenade launcher requires DFhack scripts to function: this mod’s version of "onWorldLoadForthammerGuns.init" should be placed in the folder Dwarf Fortress/dfhack-config/init

omg i love you author, i saw ava armory a while ago but i thought it was another person's mod and i didnt want to get rid of VWO so i was very sad but now i see you actually made this patch for ava armory so i am so happy i get to play your mods!!!

@Lionion This mod itself has no conflict with CGE Redux (and does not touch graphics in any capacity); the graphics conflict is between Ava's Armory and CGE Redux. As for making those two work together via a patch, I don't think it's possible (though graphics are not my area of experience). To my understanding, it would have to be a separate version of CGE designed specifically for Ava's Armory, and Digganob has said they wouldn't be making that. They're currently working on their own overhaul which will include a weapon/armor expansion similar to Ava's Armory, from the sound of it.
