What is Free Company and Meta Ruleset?
The Meta Ruleset is a cooperative combined arms tabletop roleplaying wargame built as a simple set of rules for players needing structure to run large scale tactical combat. From medieval castle sieges and modern tank battles to fighting with massive warships in space, the Meta Ruleset works for any number of players needed for any size group. “Free Company” is the setting ARMCO uses for its ongoing community setting. This setting is a “Cold Science-Fiction” universe where players assume the role of commanders for different unique companies of mercenaries in the year 3025 traveling the galaxy trying to eke out an existence in an uncaring universe. This setting can be played on its own or as a companion to your favorite RPG! Leading your characters forces to victory!
