Pure Time Trials DLC Mod
By Jackson =D
The 'Pure Time Trials' DLC was a pack of 7 Time Trial levels, with unique aesthetics and many potential shortcuts to find. It was never released on Steam, and was delisted from Origin. This guide will detail how to play these levels with a community made mod.

Massive thanks to Kekuncias, for not only putting together this collection, but also somehow managing to extract and include the PS3 exclusive level 'Synesthesia' too!
And to BTBD for creating MEMLA, which allows the game to start with modified files, making custom maps and mods possible in the first place.
Installation
Right click Mirror's Edge in Steam, and choose Manage > Browse Local Files.
Unzip the Pure TT mod folder, and drop TdGame into the game's folder, merging it with the original and accepting the overwrite of gamedata.ini.

If you want to skip the EA/DICE intro video played on every startup, delete the startupmovie.bik file inside TdGame/Movies

Now open the Binaries folder, and place the MEMLA file inside. Then shift+rightclick it and choose copy as path.

Right click the game in Steam, choose properties, and paste the path to MEMLA you copied into the launch options, then add %COMMAND% after. This will cause Steam to run MEMLA instead of the main Mirror's Edge exe.

Start the game through Steam, and all DLC trials should now be available in the Time Trials menu. They will be locked until you complete the training section in the story mode.
Bear in mind that Best Times are bugged, and the DLC trials will always set theirs to the lowest you have achieved in any trial. This unfortunately cannot be fixed.
Also be warned that not every level has a teleport trigger in the void below, which can result in the death fall noise becoming extremely loud very quickly! Press Tab, or Select on controller, to immediately respawn yourself at your last checkpoint.
Alternate Installation: DLC + Community Trials
If you're still in the mood for more trials, there is a secondary pack that also contains
numerous community made ones.
It can be downloaded here, but be aware that the pack is sizable, clocking in at 3.6GB to download. ModDB may also throttle your download speed significantly, causing the download to take upwards of an hour to complete, no matter how fast your connection is normally.

Install in the same way as the PTT pack above. Merge the TdGame folder and install MEMLA.

Sure I'll give it a bash.

That's a good question!
I think changing the command to run MEMLA will work, since it's commonly done to fix some games on Linux. But it all comes down to how Proton interacts with running it.
I'd be grateful if you could try it and see!

Any idea if this works for steamdeck?
