But what I was saying is that it's nice that AMD put so much work into CCDs for them to work properly this time around.

Yeah I actually started using it immediately after getting my 7950X3D few years ago. It definitely made things smoother and for the most part games used the proper CCD.

I was gonna wait till Zen6 as well. I didn't need it either but got it because I wanted it. The nice thing about it is it's actually fully unlocked (mine overclocks pretty well) and no more CCDs problems. Second CCD puts all cores to sleep once you open up a game. I checked but I forgot to check having a game open with other things running in the background. Now with CCDs working properly makes it exactly on par with 9800X3D gaming wise and on par with 9950X in productivity. It doesn't lag behind at all unlike 7950X3D did. This chip behaves nothing like 7950X3D when I use it/benchmark it with hwinfo/taskbar open.
