Press Alt+F4 to close the game.

Look in the bottom right of Windows for the speaker icon

Right-click on it and select Sounds

A little window will pop-up. Click on the tab that says Playback.

Step 4

Scroll through the list of playback devices until you find a green check mark on the device that plays audio for the game. Be sure not to confuse this with any microphone or other devices you have connected. Double click on this device and a 2nd pop-up window will open titled [Device name here] Properties. Click on the Advanced tab.

Step 5

Click on the drop down menu under where it says default format. Select 24 bit, 48000 Hz.

Step 6

Click Apply in the bottom right corner and then click OK to close this window. You may also close the Sound window next. Restart Zone of the Enders 2: Mars.
