Camo 2 Inspired Combine Soldier Reskin

Late one night, while on a Discord call with my friends, I was scrolling through some concept art for the Combine Soldier when I stumbled upon the prototype Combine Soldier designs from the book, Raising the Bar.

The second soldier design really caught my eye, and I decided to start working on a reskin for the base Combine Soldiers to make them look more like the prototype design.

I also saw this addon, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=633259164&searchtext=camo+5, and that was a big inspiration too.

About 2 days later, here we are, with a finished skin and some extra stuff, too.

Includes a skin for the regular soldier, the shotgun soldier, and the Zombine.

This will be a 2-part addon, with a reskin of the Prison Guards based off the 9th camo coming soon.

i mean, the first reason is mostly covered by the retail prison guards
i do understand the second one though, nova prospekt was a pain in the ass

the prison guards are orange because 1. they're prison guards, they don't need to blend in 2. they're easier to see during the nova prospekt chapters, which was always an issue for me and 3. there wasn't really anything else that fit their aesthetic

i like these more than the newer ones because they look like they're actually trying to camoflage with their environment, if only there was a skin that made the prison guards not look like they're wearing those inflatable vests you find in airplanes
