Description
Not your typical guy walks into a bar story. In a parallel universe a guy walks into a bar and shoots a brazilian while Pink Lenny escapes. While police are investigating the aftermath, a chase ensues in the streets and something else shows up on a cold Chicago night.

This challenging map is a faithful (mostly) recreation of the Red River Bar seen in the first cutscene of Driver 2. The layout makes for a simple, but interesting camping map that allows for kiting as well should you get overrun. Cut an escape route in the window and make use of the alleys to escape your pursuers (not unlike Tanner does in Driver). The neighboring Thirsty Modders Inn has health and armor supplies should you need to run through there and fix yourself up.

This map supports EAX for enhanced audio effects such as reverb and occlusion, which can be heard on ANY PC with the use of DSOAL. A premade patch for Killing Floor can be downloaded from our website (the file will not be directly linked because Steam).

Kf1 is restricted to a single core, so its performance is going to always be limited significantly on modern pcs. That said, your dynamic shadow mutator is most likely the cause. While some frame drops are going to happen, they shouldn’t be bad normally.

I've got a somewhat decent computer, and even I notice frame drops playing on this. To be fair, though, I regularly use a dynamic shadow mutator.

Patrick, can you share a KillingFloor.log after this occurs? Could probably identify the issue through that, but you need to grab it before the game relaunches

i dont know why but if you download this map on steamdeck it causes kf1 to restart your steamdeck upon getting past tripwire

Dude this is sweet. only problems i see are the ai dudes (but i can kill them anyway) and the front door of the bar being finnicky. 9.5/10 pro-in-training score
