There don't seem to be any real triggers for completing the game's various achievements, other than talking to the characters, making tea, discovering Alta's various thoughts and taking a walk in the park.

The achievements are self-validating, with no need to perform a concrete task or be in a particular place.

Small correction-ish: you literally don't need to do a thing for these achievements. You could 100% this game purely by idling!

(ngl I found the achievements strange, but fitting considering who the lead developer of the game is.)

The achievements seem to commentary on the randomness of Achievements as the rest of the game is commentary on control over life events. I have no idea what triggered any of them.
