Requirements :
1. The game
2. some program to make the game borderless from outside the game (consider something like borderless gaming program)
Step by step guide
1. Open config, set the screen mode to window, and set the resolution below your native monitor resolution(1080p monitor set to 720p game resolution)

2. Start the game

3. Make the game borderless with external program

Note
Before going to title screen, consider to make it back to windowed from borderless with the program, several time i tried if it goes to title screen while borderless using outside program, it could freeze

Pros :
Less pixelated effect

Cons :
Use more processing power
UI might be far too small if you set the resolution small enough

some extra note is if you use much more resolution difference between the game and the monitor (like 480p game with 1440p monitor), it would make the game pixelated effect pretty much not visible, but it also takes a lot more processing power

Why does this have to be the way to do things why cant the developer give players the option to play pixel fart or crisp... ??

want an ingame brightness option too, everything gets too dark at night, have to manually increase brightness every time.

Good find! Too bad for the UI reduction but the graphics gain a lot in clarity.
