This game is a movie. It has cool game mechanics.

So the "Perfect Lore Run." There can and will be some layers in between, but these are the scenes you don't wanna miss and will have to meet some of your companions to get a little deeper into their backstory. The Dialogue layers.

Liminal Layer151: This void layer portal will take you to Past Gary. This maze is a little easier
Liminal Layer181: This void layer portal will take you to Past Minerva. She is in the corner of the maze.
Liminal Layer191: This void layer portal will take you to Helena. No worries, no maze.
Liminal Layer223: The second checkpoint layer. Those other inmates look familiar now?
Liminal Layer313: This void layer portal will take you to Past Samhain. This maze is super easy. Follow the plants.
Liminal Layer353: This void layer portal will take you to Past Gary. This maze was infamous. Honestly? Switch to a soul that can let you jump high and just jump over the maze onto the stage
Liminal Layer373: This void layer portal will take you to Past Helena. No maze! Helena truly loves you gamers!
Liminal Layer383: This void layer portal will take you to Past Minerva. Can't say it's an easy maze.
Liminal Layer393: This void layer portal will take you to same gendered companion. Basically Boys talk or girl talk. But more harsh. Imagine them wasted. No maze!

It may seem odd at first, but you'll also be able to hear the portals. Anyway, enjoy these:














The purpose of these portals is to provide optional dialogue scenes. But there is a lot. And the dialogue is different for each character. It's a rogue with rogue storytelling elements. I try to make it immersive as possible. So I set the scene, think a lot about the dialogue, then make the music for the scene. It's basically making a film without having to deal with people and all that society BS.

Anyway, you enter these portals, and you'll likely enter a maze. You gotta use your ears and listen to the music then try to move close to it. Or jump really high. Your call. I don't care. You still get the achievement.

I'll be 100% honest: I hate puzzles, mazes, etc. I know, why am I making video games? So before you meet past versions of the characters, you gotta go through a maze. Helena does not have mazes because mazes are haram. Anyway. These mazes are special...

And yeah, you gotta play Liminal Void as 4 different characters to get full context of each other! I just like that storytelling mechanic.
