The “Sunset Abyss”-class pursuit destroyer is a unique strike ship among the fleet, with a design philosophy that differs from all other mainline warships. Its experimental primary cannons and specialized supercompressed engines are integrated into the hull of a destroyer, making it an astonishingly agile heavy firepower platform. The “Sunset Abyss”-class often forms independent strike squadrons, breaking through enemy lines to attack high-value targets or hunt solitary large warships. Even fully-armed mainline warships have to give way to the nimble pursuit ships.
