What is Nvidia override?
Although overrides like K and J work on RTX 20, they won't function as well; I suggest utilizing them on cards 30, 40, and 50

Even in games not upgraded to support them natively, NVIDIA's DLSS 4 overrides let users manually activate specific DLSS functions. Let me break it for you Mark:

DLSS Multi Frame Generation Override: Enables DLSS Multi Frame Generation for GeForce RTX 50 Series users when Frame Generation is ON in-game.

DLSS Frame Generation Model Upgrade: Enables the latest DLSS Frame Generation model for GeForce RTX 50 Series and GeForce RTX 40 Series users, when Frame Generation is ON in-game, which uses less video memory and can increase frame rates.
NVIDIA

Enables the newest transformer AI model for DLSS Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction, and DLAA for all GeForce RTX users while the aforementioned capabilities are ON in-game
Enabling DLSS overrides in Deep Rock Galactic
To activate DLSS overrides in DRG:

Update NVIDIA Drivers: Ensure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date to access DLSS 4 features.

Access NVIDIA App Settings:

Open the NVIDIA app on your PC.
Navigate to 'Graphics' > 'Program Settings'.
Find 'Deep Rock Galactic' in the list of programs.
Enable DLSS Overrides:

Scroll down to "Driver Settings"
Toggle on the overrides you wish to enable:
DLSS Multi Frame Generation Override: For RTX 50 Series users wanting to boost frame rates

DLSS Frame Generation Model Upgrade: For RTX 40 and 50 Series users wanting better performance with reduced VRAM usage

DLSS Transformer model upgrade: For all RTX userss wanting better image quality

Change Game Settings:

Launch Deep Rock Galactic.
Go to Options > Graphics
Set Upscaling to DLSS
Choose your preferred DLSS mode (Quality, Balanced, performance)
Which preset to choose?
  • Preset C: Prioritizes current frame data, making it ideal for fast paced games

  • Preset D: The ddefault for performance, balanced, and quality modes,, focusing on overall image stability

  • Preset E: an improved variant of Preset D offering sharper visuals and better fine detail stability

  • Preset J: Introduces a transformer-based model, giving better improvements in image quality

  • Preset K: an enhancement of preset J, giving better stability and less ghosting

Its important to say that while Presets J and K enhance image quality, they may not provide as significant a performance boost as other presets. However, even in pperformance mode, these presets can deliver visuals comparable to the Quality setting. I really recommend using K, J, or C. Even though J and K do not provide as many fps, the game appears to be without dlss with fps improvements, so yeah, I highly recommend
