Description

Weltkarte 1893: Zweite Auflage
The purpose of this map is to bring more immersion and flavor into your Germany playthroughs.
The map has been made to look not only pleasing, but also historically authentic, and countless hours of research have gone into it to make it look as if it belongs to the late Victorian period.
It features lots of details, including hundreds of location names, written in period-accurate German.

The second Edition: This edition features significant visual enhancements, added detail, and fixed spelling mistakes.

Main Inspirations for this map:
- "Andree-Putzgers Gymnasial und Realschulatlas", released in 1893, 7th edition.
- "Diercke-Schulatlas für höhere Lehranstalten", released in 1913.
(Both of these can be found at gei-digital.gei.de)

How to enable it:
Open the Theme Selector, and select "TGGM:Weltkarte 1893" next to the "Paper Map" setting.

Versions:
The latest version of this mod is 2.0, or "Second Edition".
You may need to resubscribe to get the latest version.
To find out what version you're running, open the Theme Selector and find "TGGM:Weltkarte" in your themes list. The number at the end of the line tells you what version you're on - if you don't see a number, then have an older version.

I'm not lying to you, this is simply the most beautiful map I've ever seen, with all the details perfectly embedded, making me feel incredibly amazed. I will put it in the link and introduction of the mod to let everyone know

Hi Letzter Reiter,

I'm glad you're enjoying the mod, and thanks for pointing out these mistakes.
I'll be releasing a new, much better version of this mod in a couple of days, without the typos :)

Hi Speedy Oscarin,
I doubt that this mod is causing the issues you're having with the powerbloc and construction tabs. Are you running any other mods?

Hello, your mod greatly increases the immersion for German-speaking Vic 3 players. Thank you very much.

I only found 2 small spelling mistakes, in the north over Scandinavia it says in the mod “Nordliches Eisneer” but it should be “Nördliches Eismeer”. In the south of the USA it is called “Gulf of Mexico” in the mod, “gulf” is unfortunately English. in German it is called “Golf”.

Furthermore, is it possible to move the word “ Der Kanal” , between England and France, slightly to the right? The “K” is exactly on a sea node and is therefore hidden in my game.

Thanks again for your nice mod.
