★ How to Play Online Split Screen STEAM® REMOTE PLAY TOGETHER or Offline Split Screen
★ First Timer Trying to Play Local/Offline Split Screen
1. Click Split Screen ICON
2. Select Profile for Player 1, Player 2, Player 3, Player 4 (Minimum 2-Player)
3. Link your Keyboard & Mouse or use a Gamepad
★ Your Split Screen Match is ready to go! Select any mission or Custom STEAM® Workshop Map & Mods and play together with your friends!
★ If you are only interested playing Offline/Local Split Screen, you could ignore instruction below

A. Disable Controller Overlay



B. Invite your Friends (Press Shift+Tab in-game)



C. Ask your Friends to Accept Game via STEAM® Chat



D. Setup Split Screen Save Data Profile & Controllers



E. Enjoy the game with the bros 😎
  • You only need one copy of Attack on Toys to play Online/Offline Split Screen with up to 4-Players.
  • Recommended to choose Host with the best internet speed & PC Specs for Online Split Screen.


★ For Offline/Local Split Screen, you could skip Step A, B, and C ★
🔧 Troubleshooting & Tips
A. Create a copy of your Save Data & give it to your Close Friend
  • With this feature you could easily play with your friends & level up together using your very own Save Data Profile!
  • Don't forget to ask your friends to give back the Save Data to keep your progress!



B. Make Sure STEAM® REMOTE PLAY is Active



C. Bluetooth is required for Switch Pro Controller
  • Using a USB Cable for Switch Pro Controller might not work properly! Please use Bluetooth instead!
  • STEAM® is required and use STEAM® Big Picture Mode to adjust controller if needed.



D. Controller/Gamepad is required for STEAM® REMOTE PLAY TOGETHER
  • Attack on Toys supports Xbox, Dual Shock, Switch Pro Controller



E. Attack on Toys - STEAM® REMOTE PLAY TOGETHER
  • A. You will need to Disable Controller Overlay, otherwise you won't able to use RTS/Map Mode in Attack on Toys
  • B. Please hold... This means your friend is idle, away, or doing something else behind the screen 🤔.


F. Re-invite your friends in STEAM® REMOTE PLAY TOGETHER
  • If somehow there is an issue or your friend having trouble joining in, you could try to re-invite em in STEAM® REMOTE PLAY TOGETHER
  • Click the Cancel Button and then Invite again

@UncleWarBot You will need to click Split Screen icon in bottom left corner
Then you will able to setup P1, P2, P3, P4 and link your Keyboard or controller :steamhappy:

@Corgi Yes, steam remote play is optional

I invite friends to remote play and they get the invite, click play game, but none of us see each other pop up in the 1-4 player boxes.

the remote play is really bad. is there an option for joust normal split-screen?

Remote play is not popping up when I go to invite my friends. Yes remote play is activated and yes controller overlay is disabled.
