For everyone who's been wrecked by that unforgiving Virtuoso achievement. I must've skipped those opening dialogues a hundred times, only to faceplant at the same damn intro. I tried everything to slow down this minigame: tweaking rhythm_offset_ms, setting rhythm_lane_speed_mult to 0.5, capping FPS via NVIDIA Control Panel, even hex-editing settings.res to force rhythm_lane_speed_mult below 0.5. Nothing helped.

I'm so done with skipping dialogues. These rhythm games just aren't for me – even though I nailed perfects on everything except that cursed intro. If you're stuck like I was, this guide might help.

All you need to do is replace two files. One final round of dialogues to skip (yes, it still hurts) – then ditch the controller and let Mark play his melody. Don't try to hit the timing, or you'll miss. Don't chase the beats. Just breathe with the music and let it move you. I know – every muscle memory screams to tap, but resist. Empty your hands. Quiet your reflexes. The perfect score comes when you stop trying to hit it.

1. Back Up Your Game Files
   
   • Navigate to:
     
     Steam\steamapps\common\Until Then
   • Make a copy of UntilThen.pck (just drag copy to your desktop or another folder)
   
   
2. Prepare Modified Files
   
   • Extract modules.zip anywhere, but preserve folder structure (modules/rhythm-minigame/...etc)
   
   
3. Open the Game Archive
   
   • Run GodotPCKExplorer.UI.exe
     
   • Select: File → Open File →
     
     Steam\steamapps\common\Until Then\UntilThen.pck
   
   
4. Replace Files in the Game Archive
   
   • In GodotPCKExplorer, go to File → Pack or Embed Folder
     
   • Path to the folder to pack: Select your extracted modules folder
     
   • Path prefix in pack: Type modules/
     
   • Check Enable patching and select the original UntilThen.pck file
     
   • Click Pack – this will generate a new patched .pck file containing your modified scripts
   
   
   
   
5. Final Step
   
   • Replace the original UntilThen.pck in your game folder with the new one from GodotPCKExplorer
