The file we need to remove is located here
Just moving the file to another location or deleting it will get rid of the Clock Sound and load the game without issues so far i tested.

Look up the game in your steam library and then right click on the game to open a dropdown menu.

Select properties



A new window will pop up.
Click on Installed Files on the left side and then on the browse button.



This will open up the explorer window and put u in the main folder of the game.
Open up the audio folder



Then open up the bgs folder



Inside the bgs folder search for the file named

Move this file to another place or delete it.

As a final note,

It is possible that when the game is updated the sound file may be back in place.
This will also be the case when u verify the game files.

So if the sound returns try and redo the previous steps mentioned.
