What To Look For When Scouting 2x1 & 2x2 Raids
  • Code locks
  • Solar panels
  • Refinery
  • Workbench or research table outside
  • Lights on at night
  • Furnaces lit up
  • Any building skin
  • Metal or armored foundations/walls/roofs
  • Water collectors nearby
  • Mixing table or cooking workbench outside
  • Other deployables
  • Triangle for extra storage in TC room (see below)
How To Find TC & Loot Room From Outside:
  • Hold out a triangle roof using the building plan
  • Walk around the base looking at the walls and see if the triangle roof locks onto anything...
Finding TC:
  • If the triangle can lock on at a weird angle through the wall, that's where TC is. (Only works if they have a triangle for extra storage in TC room).

Finding Loot Room:
  • If the triangle only locks on straight, not at a weird angle, that's where the loot room is.

How Many Door Frames Does a Base Have Inside?
You Can See Stone Door Frames From Outside
Frame vs No frame:
Can I Tell What Kind Of Door Occupies A Frame?
There is no way to tell what kind of door (if any) occupies a frame from the outside (unless you hear it opening or closing).
How Far Can Different Explosives Be Heard From:
Explosive Ammo:
Can be heard from 2 squares away (1.5 squares if silenced = STEALTH MODE)
Satchels:
Can be heard from 8 squares away
Rockets:
Can be heard from 8 squares away
C4:
Can be heard from 8 squares away
Calculating How Much Boom You Need:
  • Make sure to bring enough boom for every door (2 front doors + #of frames) and TC.

  • When dealing with smaller bases, most of the time all the doors will be regular metal doors.
Crafting Explosives (Main Ingredients):
Explosive Ammo (x1): (134 shots will break a new semi-rifle)
  • 25 Sulfur
Satchel:
  • 480 Sulfur
  • 10 Cloth
  • 1 Rope
Rocket:
  • 1400 Sulfur
  • 2 Pipes

  • 2200 Sulfur

Wood Door / Wood Double Door:

Garage Door:

The Raid:
What To Bring:
  • TC
  • At least 2 doors for an airlock
  • Codelocks
  • Spawn bag
  • Extra meds
  • The best kit you have
  • Enough boom to get to TC
Once You Start Booming:
  • Don't waste time checking out the loot, wait until the raid is secured.
  • Destroy bags as you find them
  • Destroy and replace TC (or deauthorize everyone if there's no lock)
  • Place/lock the doors
Now that the raid is secured:
  • Place your bag
  • Wait a little bit so the counter raiders leave the area
  • You or one of your teammates respawn outside and make sure no one is door camping
  • Start transferring loot
Tips:
  • If you have a team, set up a perimeter before the raid starts so no one can sneak up

  • The HMLMG speeds up explosive ammo raiding greatly. It's fully automatic, holds 60 rounds (63 to destroy a door), can be equipped a silencer, and it can be crafted.

  • Going through the roof with rockets gives you fast access to the whole base, but it makes it harder to seal. If there's a loot room you might not be able to reach the bottom half of it without going through a door or soft-siding a wall

  • If you know they have garage doors, you're probably better off going through the roof or walls

  • If you're on a really popular server and scared of counters, you can try raiding really late at night when hardly anyone is on

  • Don't online raid, unless you're feeling like a Chad
