Introduction
We have tested Noise-o-matic extensively on a wide variety of hardware and software and we hope you don’t need this guide. Noise-o-matic works by injection sounds directly into your microphone, so it is transparent to every application where you use it, including Discord.

Discord will try to suppress background noise or echo, which means that some sounds (especially sound effects or music) that are not voices might be filtered out by Discord.

Take the following step to ensure an optimal experience when using Discord and Noise-o-matic together!
Voice & Video settings
When experiencing issues with sounds on discord and Noise-o-matic, open Discord configuration panel and select "Voice & Video":

Make sure to disable the "Echo cancellation" and set the "Noise Suppression" to either "None" or eventually "Standard".

Results may vary depending on the type of sounds played by Noise-o-matic.

Two more settings you can consider playing with are the "Automatic Gain Control" and the "Audio Subsystem", again found in the "Voice & Video" panel:

Disable the "Automatic Gain Control" if your audio volume isn't playing consistently. Eventually, consider also calibrating your microphone in Noise-o-matic if you have issues with the Voice Changer feature.

If your sounds aren't playing at all, try changing the "Audio Subsystem" to legacy or standard.

If you're still having issues, read below.
Additional Troubleshooting
The following troubleshooting steps can be applied also outside of Discord:

Is your microphone plugged in?

As simple as it sounds, you must have a microphone plugged in. Even if it is a USB headset, you MUST connect it and it has to be enabled in the windows settings. Make sure it hasn't been disabled, or disconnected: it happens!

Double Check your microphone settings in Noise-o-matic

This happens especially if you have multiple devices, as unplugging-replugging them might get them disabled. Make sure that the device you want to use is enabled in Noise-o-matic. Eventually, consider restarting Noise-o-matic after you've made sure that the device has been installed.

Check your windows audio service

If you have other audio applications working while you first setup a device in Noise-o-matic, there is the chance that the windows audio service hasn't been restarted correctly. Check that in the windows services, or simply restart windows if you are unsure on how to do that.

Enable audio enhancements

Audio enhancements should be enabled by default on your device. However, especially if you have other third party software that could interfere with Noise-o-matic, make sure that no other software has for some reason disabled the audio enhancement feature in Windows.

Contacting Support
If you still have issues, we are happy to help you fix the problem: keep in mind there is also a free demo for Noise-o-matic, so you can try before you buy it or before you "waste" time that could prent you from refunding Noise-o-matic if that does not work for you.
