Introduction
MapHub allows you to have an always-on overlay during your game sessions. This is especially useful for the cooperative drawing mode, where you can communicate quickly with your teammate important information in real time.

MapHub can of course be used in a dual-monitor setup, with a fullscreen MapHub window on one screen and the game in the second screen, however, the always-on overlay is especially useful for one-single monitor setups.

Important: by design, the overlay feature works only with borderless windows or windowed modes. True fullscreen won't work, as that would require for MapHub to hook into the game graphics, something that could potentially be considered not a legitimate behaviour by games.
Configuration Steps
From the "View" menu select the "Customize overlay" option.

This will spawn the overlay configuration guide that will allow you to customize how your overlay will look when enabled.

You can customize the way it looks outside of the game window, but it generally helps launching the game so you can get the feeling on how it will look when you play.

You will still be able to interact with the map, so make sure to position it in a way that it doesn't interfere with the game interface, although you can toggle the overlay with a hotkey.

Simply move the window wherever you like, and use the arrows to resize it to the desired size. Use the slider to customize the way it looks in terms of transparency. Click "Done!" when finished.

It is suggested to customized the hotkey to toggle the overlay mode from the "Files" -> "Preferences" menu for a better user experience. From there, select the "Hotkey" section and assign your preferred buttons to the "Toggle Overlay" key.

While you can always load the overlay from the view menu, setting a hotkey ensures you'll be able to access or disable the overlay as needed.
Enjoy!
