Description
Replaces the Crab Synth seen near the end of HL2 with the Hunter from Ep2. I'm surprised no one did this before.
I figured that it would be neat to change an enemy that only shows up once into one that shows up much later and plays a bigger part in the game as a way of foreshadowing, though if you are playing with mods you most likely have played through the games before making foreshadowing pointless.
Also because Hunters walk way faster than Crab Synths they can be easily missed.

This mod should be compatible with Hunter reskins so long as the reskin is placed above this mod, but it won't work with remodels, duh.
At the time of writing, this is compatible with HL2 Additions by Fortress_Bucket though I'm not sure if future plans for that mod will change that or not.
If you want something that fits into the retail style without the chance that it might bug out in some custom maps, I recommend using Retail Styled Misc Synths by Deimos/Scrap .

I did a little bit of testing to make sure this didn't mess with any Ep2 stuff and it seems fine, but if any problems show up try disabling this mod while playing Ep2.

i will use this and i will use the ministrider replaces hunter mod and think what if the ministrider made out of the game but the hunters didint

Also btw that crabsynth is noticeable though from my playtesting I’ve noticed that you can’t even see the rebels dying to the crabsynth or even the crabsynth firing its minigun so I think it should be fine

Just a heads up, I’m planning to add another crabsynth cameo in the uprising sections, though that crabsynth could be seen firing its minigun at some rebels, which would look weird for a hunter to do so uh yeah this mod could be used with mine but would again look just weird
