NOTE: In order to get the second clear gem, the red gem must be obtained first from the level 12: Deep Trouble (See Section Levels 11-15). NOTE: In order to obtain the Yellow Gem you must obtain 10 relics (combination of sapphire, gold, or platinum) It should not matter the rank of the relic as long as a total of 10 have been gotten. in order to unlock the time trials the level must be beaten at least once and is usually recommended to do after beating the game and unlocking every power up. Specifically, the running shoes.
That being said, the first video shows how to get the crystal and the clear gem. the second video (Same video for level 27 under the level 26-30 section of this guide) shows how to get the yellow gem AFTER obtaining 10 relics.




Level 8: Hog Ride
NOTE: In this video I show a good method on getting the clear gem at the expense of getting the crystal. In order to get the crystal you just have to get 1st Place. Which is not bad if you are not worrying about the boxes. hence, why I used this method to get the gem instead of trying to do both at the same time.



Level 9: Tomb Time
NOTE: In order to get the second clear gem you have to obtain the purple gem BEFOREHAND.
The purple gem is found in Level 13 High Time (See levels 11-15 section of this guide).



Level 10: Midnight Run

NOTE: In order to get the second clear gem the yellow gem MUST be obtained PRIOR. The yellow gem is found on level 27. This is the alternate entrance to level 7. To see how to get the yellow gem please see Levels 26-30 section of the guide.




Level 12: Deep Trouble



Level 13: High Time
NOTE: The first video shows how to get the clear gem and the second video shows how to get the purple gem.
In order to get the purple gem you must get to the death platform without dying once then beat the death route. I believe as long as you get to the death platform without dying to make it appear, if you die while inside the death route you can go back to the death platform and it will be there still.




Level 14: Road Crash
NOTE: Again, I sacrificed getting the crystal in this video to show you an easier way of getting the clear gem. Once the clear gem has been obtained you can go back into the level and finish the level in 1st place for the crystal.



Level 15: Double Header

NOTE: In order to get the second clear gem you must FIRST obtain the blue gem in level 20 Tomb Wader. (Which can be found in this section of the guide)
