Law Rune costs to fast travel
It will cost Law Runes to fast travel anywhere in the game world. The cost is based on the distance travelled and the weight being carrying. This guide shows the Law Rune cost of fast travelling from the Church at the start of the game to one of several locations around the game world, while carrying different weights.



The locations considered include all vaults, the village, goblin camp and dragon teeth and sap locations. The weights being carried start at 0 and go up to 1000 in increments of 100. Carrying anything above 400 will make you encumbered and these numbers in the graph are there simply for illustrative purposes.

The start location for all calculations is the Church.



Observations
  • The Law Rune cost to fast travel increases in a predictable manner - in a linear fashion and not exponentially (even when over encumbered).
  • Fractured Plains Centre (Vault 4) is perhaps the centre of the map as it costs exactly 10 Law Runes extra per 100 weight (i.e 10 Law Runes at 100 weight; 50 Law Runes at 500 weight; 90 Law Runes at 900 weight).
  • Vault 6 is the most expensive place to fast travel to, regardless of how much weight is being carried.
  • Carrying 0 weight will cost 1 or 2 Law Runes to fast travel around the map. This situation is presumably when you need to rez run back to your body after you die.
  • Carrying 100 weight will cost at least 10 Law Runes to fast travel to most locations, and this broadly increases by about 10-15 Law Runes for each additional 100 weight that is being carried.
