Civilization Industrial Era Music Pack
Bringing some of Sid Meier's Civilization's industrial hits to Victoria 3

Overview
The Civilization Industrial Era Music Pack is, as the name suggests, a mod that adds Industrial Era soundtracks from the critically-acclaimed Sid Meier's Civilization franchise.

All songs are properly configured & packaged in Vic3's FMOD bank format, which means they will function exactly as if they were an official music DLC - no awkwardly playing over events or other important popups!

CIEMP includes:
  • 4 tracks from Civilization III
  • 16 tracks from Civilization IV
  • 50 tracks from Civilization VI
organized into separate albums by origin game and helpful track titles, allowing you to add some of Civilization's greatest musical experiences to your game & curate the listings to your liking for your next campaign.

Usage Notes
You may get a game crash pop-up after exiting Vic3 with this mod installed. I am not sure how to remedy this, but I've not noticed any negative consequences from these exit crashes happening, so I don't think you should be alarmed. Just know you should expect it to happen every time you close the game.

Loading Order
This mod works alone and may be placed anywhere with respect to any other mods you have.

DLC Requirements
This mod does not rely on any DLC features, so you should not need any DLCs.

Permissions
  • YES, you may include this mod in any modpacks/collections/whatever.
  • YES, you may translate this mod into other languages.

Will make a note to try this myself over the weekend. istg if all that was ruining me was file encoding shenanigans I'm going to be livid 😭

awesome and many new industrial tracks, I'll be using your mod instead of mine. About that crash after exiting the game, I managed to look at the logs and solve it for my mod:
Re-save the .txt in proper encoding:
Open music/civ4industrialmusicforv3.txt in Notepad++
Go to Encoding > Convert to UTF-8-BOM
Save the file

B. Fix the bad .dds textures (optional but better)
Use GIMP or Paint.NET with .dds plugin
Resize any image that is:
Not divisible by 4 in width/height
Or save as uncompressed .dds
Recommended size: 512x512 (made mine)

And then no more crash after the exit

Just realized this appears to be breaking playback of base game music tracks. I'm looking into fixing it.
