Warhammer 40k - The Lamenters

The Lamenters are a cursed and tragic Space Marine Chapter in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, descended from the Blood Angels and marked by an unrelenting streak of misfortune and sorrow. Known for their deep compassion for humanity rare among the Adeptus Astartes, the Lamenters often go to great lengths to protect civilians, even at great cost to themselves. Their yellow armor, adorned with a bleeding heart symbol, reflects both their melancholic nature and their noble intent. Despite their heroism, they have suffered grievously over the millennia, from being falsely accused of heresy during the Badab War to enduring near extinction at the hands of the Tyranids. Their gene-seed curse, the Black Rage, haunts them like their progenitors, but their enduring willpower and self-sacrifice have earned them quiet reverence though their story remains one of noble suffering and relentless adversity.
