Groups and organisations in this modification feature a mixture of those drawn from real world history as well as a number that are works of fiction.

The Spearhead Expansion Project (SEP) is focused on fleshing out the available factions in the Spearhead 1944 CDLC by adding entirely new factions such as the Afrika Korps and Armia Krajowa, or adding sub-factions such as the Volkssturm and early war Wehrmacht. This modification uses the Spearhead 1944 CDLC and SPEX - Spearhead Extended from Heavy Ordnance Works. These are essential to SEP, and we are immensely appreciative for the fantastic work they have done.

• New Factions - Afrika Korps, Everon Homeland Militia, Wehrmacht (Winter), Îles Horizon Troupes Coloniales, Armia Krajowa, Força Expedicionária Brasileira and US Army (Winter).
  
• New Sturmtroopers sub-factions - Men (Early) and Men (French Volunteers).

Q: Do you plan on adding "historically accurate iconography", such as the swastika?
A: We've opted to align our representation of "historically accurate iconography" in the mod with the Spearhead 1944 CDLC, meaning we'll approximate certain symbols however we won't match them 1:1.

Q: Do you plan on adding [FACTION] to the mod?
A: Please see our Discord for further information on which factions we're working on or planning to add, as well as our Trello page[trello.com].

Q: Why haven't you retextured asset [X] or [Y]?
A: Whilst Heavy Ordnance Works have provided some excellent texture templates already not everything has been released yet, or the existing template isn't enough to work with. Where possible we'll accommodate, however there may times where an asset does not match the rest of the faction visually.
