About

Tired of players being in every corner of huge map? The WorldBorder addon can fix this problem by setting up a border that prohibits to cross it! Even with noclip!

How to configure?

To configure addon, go to Utilities > Admin > WorldBorder > Open Settings.

In Positioning tab, you can change the size and offset of worldborder. (but it's recommended to use WorldBorder Positioner STOOL)
In Design tab, you can change material and color of worldborder.
In Behaivor tab, you can change the behaivor of worldborder, such as enabling/disabling it, changing action when player crosses the worldborder and etc.

Privileges

This addon is based on CAMI privileges, so you can change what admins can do. There are some:

wb immune - Be immune to worldborder wb position - Allow to position the worldborder wb design - Allow to change the design of worldborder wb behaivor - Allow to change the behaivor of worldborder

Convars

sv_wb_size_[x,y,z] - Size of worldborder sv_wb_offset_[x,y,z] - Offset (position) of worldborder sv_wb_color_[r,g,b] - The color of worldborder sv_wb_material - Material of worldborder sv_wb_preview - Preview the worldborder wireframe (shown to everyone) sv_wb_enabled - Enable the worldborder sv_wb_cross_action - The action to be done to player that crossed the worldborder: 0=Teleport back, 1=Dissolve player, 2=Kick player

FAQ

Q: The WorldBorder Settings window is empty or some tabs are missing.
A: That means you don't have certain permissions to configure the worldborder.

Q: The Positioner STOOL does not left-clicking.
A: You must aim to a surface or model, because the code is terrible.

Q: The color selection in design tab doesn't do anything!
A: You must select "Plain Color" material to make it work, or just type "color" in text entry.

Q: Why there is no alpha channel in color selection?
A: This is GMod API bug. The function that should change the transparency does not work on non-models (worldborder is a box, not model). You can view the bug on issue tracker here[github.com].
