Description
This is my first mod for the workshop. My current objective is to bring historical asian weapons (and perhaps eventually armor) to Kenshi, using models based on replicas and artifacts.

I haven't had a lot of time to mod and that's the main reason this big update took so long to release. I intend to make small additions at least once a week and I'll keep an eye on suggestions everyday. Fixes and balancing will be made as soon as you guys warn me of them.

These mods take some time to create, and with copper mining, research and my own Kenshi adventures, I don't get a lot of time to work on these kinds of projects. I hope you all understand any eventual lack of updates. If you enjoyed my mod and want to support my work, consider buying me a bottle of bloodrum.

Well, mods that add quality weapons and armour are always great and so far, i've really liked what i've seen from this mod so im looking forward to what you have planned.

@BIG_PUNPUN_STAR That's what I do for testing. I intend on doing exactly that, but I also don't want to just throw random, standard NPCs into the world. I kinda want to make them unique and interesting somehow; that's one of the reasons I'm thinking about making armor really soon. I also have plans for REALLY unique weapons, like in the case of the Daoist Shuangjian (with unique textures, not vanilla ones). But recently I've been kinda busy, so it's hard to really dig into it, but I should have a lot more free time at the start of the month, so hopefully things start developing faster.

I dont know what you have fully planned but a lot of the weapons can be paired on one guy (so a polearm and a sidearm) if that helps with it at all. Also just putting some mysterious enemy somewhere to fight to get them would be cool enough imo.

@BIG_PUNPUN_STAR I'm actually considering creating NPCs for at least the Meitou weapons, but given the amount of weapons currently in the mod and the ones planned to be in it I feel like that would be too much. I'm trying to figure out a way to do that in a nice way, but for now the only possible way would be a Meitou crafting mod.

I see, i was under the assumption that Cross versions would be on NPCs since thats pretty common with weapon mods. I added some to random NPCs so i could steal them. Thanks for the reply, the weapons look great.

@BIG_PUNPUN_STAR Unless I messed up something in the updates, all the individual research should be unlocked by Tech Level 2 and will be in the group "Smithing: The Art of War". I made a research for each weapon so they don't end up overcrowding the crafting menu with weapons you don't intend to use.

Right now they don't appear on NPCs or stores, but I'm thinking about aking it a thing eventually.
