Better Water Interaction

Beskrivning
Addon that greatly improves water logic and visuals in a source engine style.

Features:

-Overlays underwater/slime.
-Splashes occur for smaller objects and items like HL2 entities and such as they did not before.
-Splashes for walking/running in water, for both players and NPCs.
-Bubble and foam effects when submerging and reemerging at great enough speeds.
-Water wake when swimming in water + sound effects when swimming normally.
-Most vehicles with wheels splash in water now when driving through it.
-Serverside ragdolls splash in water now.

--Effects work for regular water and toxic slime!

Yeah I know it’s laggy with that mod, experienced in myself ): currently I’m on vacation so I can get back to this when I’m back

really laggy when either fedhoria or reagdoll ragdolls enter the water,by making like 30 particles

Working on fixes and optimization rn. Also for submarines I will add a toggle for checking whether the player is in a vehicle or not. Next update should fix multiplayer bugs hopefully.

Do you think you could made the water overlay and sounds not happen if your camera is inside of a vehicle underwater? This way we will be able to use submarines properly with this mod

@bread! Sorry ): I don’t often test my addons in multiplayer. I will look at the problem and see if I can fix it.

not sure if this has been reported but in multiplayer whenever one player goes in the water it starts freaking out thinking everyone is entering and exiting the water rapidly and just turns into a mess of splashing on the other players
