Revolver cooldown
In Reaver revolver cooldown is as it sounds, just the cooldown before you shoot again, but, if you havent used any weapons besides the revolver, or if you started a level by holding another weapon and didnt use another, you can use the "switch to last used weapon" keybind, (Q by default) to reset the cooldown, letting you shoot around 50% faster.

Knowing this, it's a very smart idea to, when using the shotgun, switch to the revolver for a second and shoot, then go back to the shotgun. Even with the revolver shot in between, it's still faster.

Sliding
If you slide over a spot where you just killed an enemy, you slide faster, but this slide speed is carried what seems like the entire slide. Also, it seems as though sliding takes the speed going into the slide into account, since, when you spam the slide keybind while going over the spot where enemies were killed, you go very fast.

Punching
When you are going against a boss or just against an enemy who takes multiple shotgun shots, it's a good idea to punch at the same time as shooting. yes, you can punch and shoot. Whats nice about this, is that, as long as you just get it in muscle memory, it's very easy. the nice part about it is that say i deal 300 damage with the shotgun, to an enemy with 700 health, and then i do 150 with a punch, i only need 250 from the next shotgun shot so it's more likely to kill considdering shotgun shots are spread out.

Healing
In Reaver, to heal, you have two options, kill an enemy and pick up the health tokens, or whatever they're called, OR get nice and close and attack. the problem is, that the closer, the more hp you get, which is a problem since at the distance where you are able to be hit by some enemies, you would get like 10 health back. So, what i do, is ESPECIALLY against a boss, i let go of movement keys, dash and jump, and punch, usually, they cant attack you moving that fast, and with the range of a punch, if it hits, you probably get around 50 hp back.

Enemy hordes
If you want to remove a horde of enemies, you have a couple options, first, use an ability that explodes or has AOE damage. second, use an ability to group them, like black hole, and then use a piercing attack. lastly, you can use the right click hold and then left click attack of the revolver to fire 4 shots at once, stacked, which is nice since if aimed properly, can kill 4 enemies.

Abilities
Lastly, you should focus on you abilities, they are INCREDIBLY strong, and a lot of people forget them during a fight, while rage, your revolver ultimate, the double gun with the smg, and others, are really good, one example is the smg's ability of double gun, which you can actually keep using while holding another gun, so, use the smg's ability, and switch to the alternate version, to get more firepower.

Another thing is that the ability of an alternate being used, does NOT use up the other alternate's ability. so remember that.
