Have never seen this weapon variant before, looks really neat though. Thanks for bringing it into the game.

@Mharhon - After a little field research I have come to the conclusion that 54R is simply represented inaccurately in Ground Branch - The SVD also has a consistent 2 shot to body to kill, whereas 7.62 NATO has a consistent one shot to body, even on armored targets.

As such, I have switched the chambered round from 54R to NATO in an effort to more accurately represent the power that should be expected from a 54R weapon. This will simply be an under the hood sort of thing, as I will make no changes to the actual visual representation of 54R rounds in the magazine.

With the suppressor socket, I simply made a typographical error in the editor, which is why it did not show up after the hotfix today. It is now fixed and will use any suppressor that is tagged as a marksman rifle suppressor.

Thank you for your feedback

@ppeeppsii

Thanks for the reply! You certainly didn't have to and I really appreciate it.
By all means, take your time on any fixes/changes you want to roll out. The mod as-is is an extremely generous gift to the community and I was only trying to offer a little constructive criticism to help it be the great platform I know it can be.

With that said, I must say it's nice to know it's not just me who thought the damage was a little off. :)

As for the suppressors, I'm not seeing them available post-hotfix 3 (where I do see them available on almost all other weapons). I don't blame you for this as the devs have already said they made a change to the system, so it may have worked before Hotfix 2 - I didn't have occasion to try it in time. I just figured I'd mention it. Again, thank you for your attention and communication and by all means please take whatever time you need - life is much more important. :happy_yeti:

@Mharhon thank you for your kind words. Yes, damage is lacking. This is something I have meant to address, but I have been busy with work the past couple of days so I have not pushed out a fix. As for suppressor, the suppressor sockets were broken in hotfix 2, and were fixed only today, in hotfix 3. If they are still not working then I probably named the socket wrong in the sdk lol

First off, great model! The gun fundamentally works well and while its styling is somewhat... simple, it's very customizable and a lot of fun to use.

With that said, I have to ask: doesn't the damage feel low for 7.62x54R against AI? I have to double-tap about 80% of my center-of-mass shots even at the lowest difficulty and at very short range. This falls significantly below the performance of the .308/7.62x51 in-game and even a little below the 7.62x39 rifles in my experience. This seems off to me because 7.62x54R is indisputably a more powerful round than .308/7.62x51 (by about 10-15% depending on which specific loads you compare).
I don't expect it to be .50BMG deadly - that wouldn't be realistic - but I would expect it to match or outperform the .308s.

P.S. Suppressor support would be awesome!

Again, great model. Very happy to have it and I thank you. These are just some of my minor thoughts after using it in several different missions.
