Lore & Description

The Zerg Swarm is a nightmarish force of biological perfection, driven by a singular will: to consume, evolve, and dominate. Born on the barren world of Zerus and later shaped by the will of the ancient Xel'Naga, the Zerg embody the ultimate form of adaptation—merging countless genetic traits into a single, ever-growing collective.

Ruled by the Overmind and, later, by the Queen of Blades, the Zerg operate as a hive mind, with billions of organisms acting in perfect unison. They have no need for diplomacy, culture, or negotiation. Their purpose is singular: the assimilation of all life to fuel their genetic evolution. Every creature in the Swarm, from the basic Zergling to the massive Ultralisk or airborne Mutalisk, is bred for war and optimized through experience.

Zerg colonies rapidly infest and transform entire planets, spreading creep and spawning biological structures from the ground itself. They strike swiftly and with overwhelming force, relying on numbers, speed, and constant adaptation to overcome technologically superior foes.

Though viewed by many as monsters, the Zerg are not mindless. They are intelligent, calculating, and capable of terrifying innovation. Under Kerrigan’s leadership, the Swarm evolved beyond its original programming, becoming a force of vengeance, purpose, and even ideology.

The Zerg are not merely an enemy—they are the end of all resistance, the inevitable evolution of life through assimilation. To fight them is to battle nature itself—ruthless, patient, and endlessly hungry.

@twink-alicious
Because the Leviathan is already used to much , as carrier, juggernaut, colossus and even as starbase and habitat

Why is a brood lord the flagship?

I double checked that I have the right order but it looks like the cruiser and destroyer are invisible at least when making a faction in the shipset view idk if they'll show up in game normally.
