Lore & Description

The Vorlons are one of the oldest and most powerful races in the galaxy - enigmatic beings of immense power, ancient wisdom, and inscrutable purpose. As members of the First Ones, they existed long before the younger civilizations took to the stars, subtly guiding galactic development from the shadows. Their true forms are incomprehensible to most species, often perceived through a cultural lens as angelic or divine.

Shrouded in mystery, the Vorlons rarely speak plainly. Their philosophy, summed up in the question "Who are you?", emphasizes identity, order, and obedience. To them, the path to enlightenment lies in knowing one’s place within a structured cosmos. They act as shepherds - benevolent from one perspective, tyrannical from another - manipulating events on a galactic scale to impose their vision of order.

Vorlon ships are living constructs - organically grown vessels that are as awe-inspiring as they are devastating. Their technology defies conventional understanding, easily outclassing anything built by younger races. When they act, it is with overwhelming force and an almost divine finality.

Despite their immense power, the Vorlons are not omniscient. Their millennia-long conflict with the Shadows - fellow First Ones who represent chaos and evolution - reveals a dangerous absolutism in their thinking. The younger races, caught in the middle, are often pawns in a philosophical war the Vorlons believe they alone understand.

To the galaxy, the Vorlons are myth given form: ancient, silent watchers who speak in riddles and judge without warning. Their presence is both blessing and burden, their goals hidden behind the single, haunting question they always ask: "Who are you?"

Please report any issues you encounter, and I will do my best to fix them as quickly as possible.
This patch has been tested with Stellaris version 4.0.14, but it should remain compatible with past and future versions. I will continue to monitor compatibility.

FAQ
1. Is it playable without NSC3 installed?
-> Yes it should. You just wouldnt have new NSC3 Ships. Means a smaller roaster.
And not all ships shown on the pictures

@Harabec
The Bioshiop Patch is mostly compatible with NSC3 , it SHOULD work, but since NSC3 has not much looked into Bioships for now, i would rather rtecommend to use the mechanical Vorlons for all stuff you like on NSC3.

If you dont care so much about that, you can just play Bioships also with NSC3.
Offspring ships SHOULD work,

The Bioship and the Mechanical Ship Patch are both Patches on its own.
Decide how you wanna play Vorlons and pic one.

Dont paly both together :)

So the bioship patch shows as incompatible with this, but isnt clear to me if its already nsc3 ready or not. Do we need a new bioship patch for that one?

@Kamen Rider Nexus
Bio Version is out

Ah, you didn't set the Vorlons as Mechanical out of ignorance, but out of simple uncertainty in the function of the "Bioship" mechanic, and intend on shifting over once you understand better?

Ok, that makes a LOT more sense. Sorry for bugging you, then.

I will do a extra Bio version if i found out how Bioships works. i'm testing at my Zergshipset atm how it works
Kamen Rider Nexus 7 Jun @ 2:45pm
Technically, the Vorlon Ships would be Biological, because...well...Vorlons use Biotech.
