Introduction:

Achievement Breakdown: (12)
Story Related: (1)
Secondary Objectives: (4)
Collectibles: (2)
Slay: (1)
Online: (4)

For 100% in Castle Crashers we need to play the Main Campaign at least once, but most likely twice (one Solo & one in Online Co-op). The main Collectibles we need to find as we play are called Animal Orbs. Most can be found through natural progression or bought from Stores, but some can only be found with specific Items; we will have to backtrack to some Levels to find them. There is no Achievement for finding all the Weapons in the game or for unlocking all the different playable Characters, which is kind of unfortunate in my opinion…

There are several Achievements that can only be earned by playing in Online Multiplayer. For the most part, the servers for this game are pretty dead & it is next to impossible to match with other Players. Because of this, you will have the best time just playing with your Friends or by finding partners down in the Comments Section of this guide.

There are two DLC expansions for this game that contain two new playable Characters as well as some Weapons; the DLCs have no Achievements & are not required for 100%.

There is also a brand new third DLC called the Painter Boss Paradise that is coming out at some point this year (2025) & it remains to be seen if it will add any more Achievements to the game or not…

Guide contains minor spoilers*.
Sequence 1: For King & Country!
1. Levels: Blacksmith, Barbarian Boss, Forest Entrance, Thieves’ Forest, Abandoned Mill, Thieves’ Store
2. Animal Orbs: 2/27
3. Achievements: 2/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To start, we will be playing the Main Campaign of Castle Crashers. Choose whichever Character you like from the list; beating the game with each of the Characters will unlock a brand new one to play as. DLC Characters will not unlock a new Character upon beating the game…

Main Campaign (Solo):
The Main Campaign is pretty linear to start & there is not much to mention; beat through the first few Levels. There are lots of hidden Weapons (& Weapons we can receive as rare drops from enemies) that are cool to collect, but have no associated Achievements for finding them all.

Though I mention to do this part Solo, most definitely complete the Main Campaign with Friends if you have them. If doing this, you can shave off an extra playthrough of the game; just keep in mind the Online Main Campaign Achievements covered in Sequence 6.

Blacksmith:
After we beat Levels Home Castle & Castle Keep, we will arrive at the World Map screen. Here we can travel over to the Blacksmith where all our Weapons & Animal Orbs can be equipped.

Relic #1 – Compass: Outside both buildings near the Blacksmith himself, we can find the Compass. This is one of three Items we need to collect so we are able to sail East…

Barbarian Boss:

Achievement #1 – Melee Is Best: Defeat any end Boss without using any Magic.
Progress through the Barbarian War & Barbarian Boss Levels & we will find the Red Princess. To rescue her, we need to defeat the Barbarian Boss. For this Achievement, do not use any Magic, & solely defeat the Boss using your Weapon; this can be done during any Boss fight, & you can even replay this one!

As a side note, as crazy as it sounds, in late game, we will be farming the Barbarian Boss to earn the Gold we need to buy the Animal Orbs that are for sale…

The Red Princess: Defeat the Barbarian Boss, & we will rescue the Red Princess & earn our first kiss; if you are playing Co-op, make sure you are the one to get the kiss for the Kay Eye Ess Ess Achievement.

Forest Entrance:

Animal Orb #1 – Owlet: For the next segment of the game, we will chase after the Princesses into the Forest. Fight through to the very end of the Level, & a group of Bandits will emerge out of a large shrubby entrance that will signal the end.

Kill the Bandits, but before exiting into the shrubs, look in behind some bushes at the top right corner of the area to find our first Animal Orb, Owlet.

Thieves’ Forest:

Animal Orb #2 – Seahorse: Progress through the Thieves’ Forest next, & shortly after we witness a deer anxiously rocket itself off screen, the next area will have a small stream running through it with more Bandits to fight. In the middle of this stream, we can see Seahorse floating directly in the open; it is impossible to miss.

Troll: Near the end of Thieves’ Forest, before the Troll Mother fight, you can see what looks like a black Animal Orb blocked in behind a stone wall. Currently, we will be unable to get it & will need to replay this Level later on once we acquire Bombs.

There are many secrets on each Level that will require replaying it once you have the needed items…

Abandoned Mill:

Achievement #2 – Deer Trainer: Navigate the Abandoned Mill without hitting any obstacles.
Defeat the Troll Mother Boss at the end of Thieves’ Forest, & we will enter into the Abandoned Mill. This is a railroaded Level where we must ride deer through the mill to escape the Giant Troll Boss.

For this Achievement, you cannot hit the fallen logs or get caught in any doorways. Pay attention to what the other deer are doing & where they go to get a better sense of where the obstacles are; stay as grouped up with the deer as you can. Don’t stray too far back in the area as well or you’ll bump into the Giant Troll Boss & get damaged.

If you fail, & accidentally hit an obstacle, it isn’t a big deal & you are able to replay the Abandoned Mill from the World Map to keep retrying for this Achievement.

Thieves’ Store:

Bombs: With the Thieves’ Forest Level completed, we will unlock the Thieves’ Store. This is the earliest point that we are able to acquire Bombs.

Stock up on as many as you can!
Sequence 2: Party Crashers!
1. Levels: Tall Grass Field, Pipistrello’s Cave, Flowery Field, Parade, Cyclops’ Fortress, Volcano Store, Church Store, Thieves’ Forest, Blacksmith
2. Animal Orbs: 9/27
3. Achievements: 3/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tall Grass Field:

Animal Orb #3 – Rammy: Press on into the Tall Grass Field, & we will venture into Bear country. Fight through the first two waves of Bears, & our third encounter with them will have the rocking Bear Boss.

The Bear Boss will be accompanied by an Animal Orb, Rammy. Kill the Bear Boss & we be able to acquire Rammy for ourselves.

Pipistrello’s Cave:

Animal Orb #4 – Bitey Bat: At the very end of the Pipistrello’s Cave Level, we will have to defeat the Pipistrello Boss himself. As soon as he is slain, he will shrink into the Bitey Bat Animal Orb.

Flowery Field:

Achievement #3 – Maximum Firepower: Using a Catapult, fling a knight with maximum power.
Ignore the Industrial Castle for now, & press on into Flowery Field. Fight off a group of Bees & Beekeepers, & our Catapults will get in position to assault the castle. When we jump into a Catapult, you will see a meter go up & down; time your button prompt when the meter is completely full to launch yourself at maximum power & unlock the Achievement.

If you fail, you will need to replay this Level & try this moment again!

Parade:

Animal Orb #4 – Meowburt: Fight through the Wedding Crash Level & defeat the Conehead Groom Boss. When he is killed, the Cyclops, will steal the Green Princess from us, & we will have to chase after him during the Parade Level.

Fight through the waves of Conehead Knights, & eventually the Troll Giant Boss will arrive. Kill the Troll Giant, & the Cyclops’ carriage will escape when we smash into a the cave entrance. Enter into the cave, which will begin the Cyclops’ Cave Level, & immediately backtrack out of the cave back into the Parade Level. Out here, we can find Meowburt where the dead Troll Giant used to be.

Cyclops’ Fortress:

Animal Orb #5 – Snoot: Complete the Cyclops’ Cave & Cyclops’ Gate Levels, & we will enter the Cyclops’ Fortress. After we defeat the first wave of Conehead Knights, we will walk past a picture of the Conehead Groom & the Cyclops on the wall. Just past it, will be another wave of Conehead Knights we have to defeat.

Along the same wall as that picture, we can see an indent in the wall that looks cracked. Drop down 1-2 Bombs right in front of the cracked wall, & it will explode to reveal Snoot.

The Green Princess: Defeat the Cyclops Boss, & we will rescue the Green Princess to earn our next kiss; if you are playing Coop, make sure you are the one to get the kiss for the Kay Eye Ess Ess Achievement.

Volcano Store:

Sandwiches: Before entering Lava World, I strongly recommend stocking up on Sandwiches which we can now purchase from the Volcano Store. While we can loot Sandwiches during the Level, the Volcano Boss can only be damaged while we are “Beefy”.

Animal Orb #6 – Spiny: We can also see the Animal Orb, Spiny for sale here for 300 Gold. You most likely do not have the Gold to spare; there is also another Animal Orb we need to buy at the Church Store that costs 325 Gold as well.

Our last two Levels in Act 1 are extremely difficult – there are many enemies we have to face & they deal a lot of damage! To better prepare & to kill two birds with one stone, I recommend returning to the Barbarian Boss & farming him until you have 625 Gold to buy the two Animals Orbs. During this process, we should also gain enough Level ups to take an edge off the difficulty.

For time spent vs reward, the Barbarian Boss is simply the quickest way to farm Gold in this game. The Gold range you will get is 100 to 150 Gold per run, & each run should take you under 30s to complete.

When you have at least 300 Gold, return to the Volcano Store & purchase Spiny.

Church Store:

Animal Orb #7 – Monkeyface: Using the same strategy, farm another 325 Gold & go to the Church Store where we can purchase Monkeyface. In total, you will have to kill the Barbarian Boss a minimum of 6 times to afford both Animal Orbs.

You can also farm the Gold to buy all currently available Weapons too if you want, though of course there is no Achievement for it; the black war cudgel for sale at the Volcano Store is pretty powerful!

Thieves’ Forest:

Animal Orb #8 – Troll: We may as well backtrack to the Thieves’ Forest as well if you have not already done so to collect Troll – be sure to have at least 3 Bombs in your Inventory! After we cross the creek, we will enter the ruins that have the Trolls in it. When we first enter the ruins, follow the topmost wall along until you see a hole in it with a floating black Animal Orb behind it; drop down at least 3 Bombs where the Animal Orb is to destroy the wall.

Blacksmith:

Animal Orb #9 – Sherbert: When we reached Level 8, we will have unlocked the jump X, X, Y Uppercut Combo. Go to the Blacksmith Level, & enter into the Animal Ark. At the very far back end, we can see a locked door with a cute kitty directly above it. To collect him, jump into the air & begin using the Uppercut Combo to begin launching yourself higher up on the door as it counts as a physical object we can attack. After the first Combo, mash X & Y (mainly Y) to stretch your Weapon high up to the ceiling & you should be able to collect Sherbert!
Sequence 3: Overseas
1. Levels: Lava World, Industrial Castle, King’s Arena, Dock, Desert, Alien Ship, Desert Chase, Sand Castle Interior
2. Animal Orbs: 14/27
3. Achievements: 4/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lava World:

Relic #2 – Wheel: Lava World is extremely difficult & very long; the Fire Demons we fight here deal insane amounts of damage as well & we fight a lot of them. If you are struggling to complete this Level, come back later after Leveling up some more, ideally through farming the Barbarian Boss so you can farm for Gold as well!

Try keeping all the enemies grouped up so your attacks hit them all. Don’t get surrounded or you are more likely to be taken off guard when they shoot their fireballs at you!

Around the 3/4 mark of the Level, after we defeat the Necromancer’s Skeletons, we will encounter the Volcano Boss. To damage it, you must eat a Sandwich & it will roughly take 3-4 Sandwiches to kill it. The Fire Demons do drop Sandwiches when killed during this fight.

Immediately after killing the Volcano Boss, we will have to fight the Dragon & Sock Puppet Boss. The only way we can damage it is by jumping into the air & attacking it; you can combo & keep yourself in the air for quite a while if you do not stop attacking. As soon as the Dragon lowers its head, run away as it breathes fire; the Sock Puppet cannot be damaged & will also be constantly dropping boulders at us that we will need to step under. Play defensively & don’t get greedy with your attacks; as soon as the Dragon starts to lower its head, run!

Industrial Castle:

Animal Orb #10 – Cardinal: With Lava World completed, it is time for us to move down to the Industrial Castle – an equally challenging Level. Use a Sandwich to become Beefy, & use Y to tear down the door to the Industrial Castle.

Fight through the Fencers, Industrialist, & traps through the castle, & we will eventually take an elevator up to the next floor. Upon arriving, we will encounter a Beefy Brute that has the Cardinal Animal Orb as his current companion. Be sure to collect it after you kill him… I find the best way to kill the Beefy Brute is to just run away from him & kill him using your Magic…

Relic #3 – Telescope: For our last piece to the boat, we need to defeat the Industrial Machine Boss. If you are not careful, you can die very quickly accidentally & have to re-beat the entire Level over again! Play defensively, & destroy the central four electricity pilons & nuclear pilon first. Then you can use your Magic to defeat the master hand & time your melee attacks on the various elemental launchers it has.

Once the Industrial Machine Boss is killed, we can get some revenge & collect the Telescope after we do so.

King’s Arena:

New Character – Barbarian: Now that we have all three pieces we need to sail the ship, we can complete Act 1. Before we do so, as a little side business, travel to the King’s Arena & defeat the waves upon waves of Barbarians; fortunately, they are only Barbarians & by this point should not cause you too much grief.

Win this Arena, & we will be awarded a brand new Character, the Barbarian. For the Traitor Achievement, we need to kill a Boss while playing as their own minion. In a New Game, we will defeat the Barbarian Boss as the Barbarian to earn it…

There are many more Arenas we can complete that will award us other new Characters to play as; there are no Achievements associated with doing so, but can give you different variations of earning the Traitor Achievement.

Dock:

Complete Act 1: When you are ready to continue onwards, bring all three Relics to the Docks & we will be able to set sale to the East!

Desert:

Shovel: When we exit the ship in the Desert, we can find the Shovel immediately outside next to a sand castle; this is a very important piece of equipment. From here on, if you see faint black holes in the ground, approach them with the Shovel & dig them up for loot!

Achievement #4 – Treasure Hunter: Find & dig up 10 buried items.
There are more than 10 opportunities to dig up buried items on this Level alone. The Achievement is cumulative, & we will need to backtrack across various Levels with the Shovel to acquire new Animal Orbs; most Levels have secret buried items on them!

Animal Orb #11 – Giraffey: As we progress through the Level, we will start encountering Royal Guards accompanied by the large Beefy Scarabs. After the second encounter with the Royal Guards, we will see a weird looking pyramid in the distance with a red top & a breathing bubble over it. If you get to the third encounter with two Royal Guards & two Scarabs, you have gone too far!

Before continuing further, search the ground around here to find a Buried Item. Dig it up, & it will be a new Animal Orb!

Alien Ship:

Animal Orb #12 – Install Ball: At the end of the Desert Level, we will be abducted by Aliens! Fight off the seemingly infinite horde of Aliens at the command deck & a Beefy Alien will start the self destruct sequence! We will only have 1:00 minute to escape the ship.

As we go to run, there will be an energy barrier blocking our way just past the toilet the Beefy Alien was sitting on. Destroy the console, to get past it, but immediately run up to the topmost wall on the other side of the energy barrier. Up here, you should see a black doorway – run through & run to the right inside it, & we will collect a new Animal Orb in the shadows here.

Collecting the Install Ball may take too much time, & you will fail to escape the Alien Ship. It is not a big deal, & you can easily replay the Level over if this happens.

Desert Chase:

Animal Orb #13 – Zebra: Escape the exploding Alien Ship, & we will be back in the desert. Ride through the desert, & eventually we will see a short cutscene of a Saracen riding a Camel, with an Animal Orb following behind him.

Don’t stop for anything, & ride your Camel after the Saracen. Knock him off his Camel & kill him to collect his Animal Orb.

If you take too long (stopping to dig up Buried Items) the Saracen will get away & you will have to replay this Level.

Sand Castle Interior:

Animal Orb #14 – Scratchpaw: As soon as we enter the Sand Castle Interior, we can see a crack in the topmost wall. Approach it, & drop down at least 2 Bombs to destroy it. Enter into the hole we made, & head right to collect Scratchpaw.
Sequence 4: Homecoming Hero
1. Levels: Flooded Temple, Marsh, Swamp Village Store, Medusa’s Lair, Snow World, Ice Castle, Snow Store, Wizard Castle Interior, Final Battle
2. Animal Orbs: 21/27
3. Achievements: 5/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flooded Temple:
Our only way forward is the Flooded Temple, but when we arrive, our path is blocked & can only be opened using the Horn… which we don’t have. After approaching the blocked gate, turn back & leave the Level.

Marsh:

Animal Orb #15 – Frogglet: After we exit the Flooded Temple, the way to the Marsh will now be open to us. Shortly upon entering, we will encounter some Skeletons killing a Peasant & beyond them will be a series of graves. After the first stretch of graves, we can see a Buried Item marker near the top of the area close to an open mausoleum; use the Shovel & dig it up to find this Animal Orb.

Animal Orb #16 – Snailburt: Continue through the Marsh until you defeat another Troll Mother like we fought in Thieves’ Forest but as a common enemy this time. Carry on until we reach a new group of Peasants – one of them being a Beefy Peasant. Before we approach them, we can see Snailburt out in the open along the way to them…

Horn: At the end of the Marsh Level, we will have to defeat the Corn Boss; he is not too difficult, but very tedious. Once he is defeated, we will be rewarded by the Peasants with the Horn.

Not only do we need the Horn to progress onwards, but we can use it to acquire a new Animal Orb in an earlier Level…

Swamp Village Store:

Animal Orb #17 – Piggy: With the Corn Boss defeated, we now have access to the Swamp Village Store. Here we can find Piggy for sale for 290 Gold; if you do not have the Gold to purchase it, return to the Barbarian Boss & complete 2-3 runs of it to earn the money.

Medusa’s Lair:

Animal Orb #18 – Chicken: Pass through the Flooded Temple & we will exit back outside, now in Medusa’s Lair. As soon as we exit the temple, look on the ground for a Buried Treasure. Dig it up with the Shovel, & we will collect Chicken!

Snow World:

Animal Orb #19 – Bi-Polar Bear: Enter into Snow World & fight your way through all the Iceskimos until you eventually reach the Iceskimo village. Before you exit the village, you will see an icy path that leads up a hill towards a wooden sign with the Horn on it & a cave. Head up the path, & use the Horn outside the cave to summon the Bi-Polar Bear.

is summoned by using the horn by a cave at the end of the Snow World level (a sign marks the location).

Animal Orb #20 – Yeti: Immediately after we summon the Bi-Polar Bear, head back down the path & we can see a wooden cabin with smoke coming out of its chimney right beside the path. Head in behind this cabin, & we will collect the Yeti.

Ice Castle:

Blue Princess: Enter the cave we summoned the Bi-Polar Bear from, & we will be in the Ice Castle. At the end of this Level, we will have to defeat the Ice King Boss. The key to defeating this Boss is sprint attacks; when he is close to half health, we will almost always be under constant bombardment from icicles.

Defeat the Ice King & we will rescue the Blue Princess & earn our next kiss; if you are playing Coop, make sure you are the one to get the kiss for the Kay Eye Ess Ess Achievement.

Snow Store:

Animal Orb #21 – Pazzo: At the Snow Store, we can find the Animal Orb Pazzo for sale for 455 Gold. If you do not have the Gold to purchase him, farm the Barbarian Boss 4-5 times…

Wizard Castle Interior:

Boss Rush: Enter the Wizard Castle, & fight through the Painter, Undead Cyclops, & the Necromancer Bosses. It is unlikely you can kill all three Bosses in one go, which is fortunate as once you destroy a Soul Crystal, it will stay destroyed permanently so you do not have to defeat the same Boss twice.

Final Battle:

Achievement #5 – Traditional: Complete the game using any Character.
Story Related. It is now time to finish the fight. Stock up on Health Potions, & defeat the SIX phases to the Evil Wizard Boss. As soon as we kill the Evil Wizard in his final form, we will unlock the Achievement.

Orange Princess: Defeat the Evil Wizard & we will rescue the Orange Princess & earn our final kiss; if you are playing Coop, make sure you are the one to get the kiss & you will unlock the Kay Eye Ess Ess Achievement.
Sequence 5: M'Lady
1. Levels: Flooded Temple, Marsh, Swamp Village Store, Medusa’s Lair, Snow World, Ice Castle, Snow Store, Wizard Castle Interior, Final Battle
2. Animal Orbs: 27/27
3. Achievements: 7/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now it is mop up time for our first playthrough; though I only have a few things listed below for Achievements, there are so many hidden Weapons in Buried Items around the majority of Levels & I recommend a few replay of each…

Home Castle:

Animal Orb #22 – Mr. Buddy: In the Home Castle Level, after the starting cutscene, re-enter the tavern below where the King is sitting to rejoin the party. Head over to the far-left end of the tavern & we can see a Buried Item below where the Nurse is in a pile of hay. Dig it up with the Shovel to collect Mr. Buddy.

Tall Grass Field:

Animal Orb #23 – Hawkster: In Tall Grass Field, reach the first encounter with the Bears & defeat them. Before continuing on, you should see a Horn Sign outside one of the huts here; use it, & Hawkster will emerge from it.

Animal Orb #24 – Burly Bear: Continue through Tall Grass Field past the Bear Scorpion artillery. Defeat another group of Bears & we will approach a rocky cliff. As soon as we see start seeing rocks, head up to the top left corner of them near a tree, & we can find a boulder in the cliff wall we can interact with. Eat a Sandwich to become Beefy, & lift the boulder out of the way to reveal a secret cave area.

Enter the cave & there will be a cracked wall in between the entrance & the Chests inside. Use Bombs to destroy the wall, & we can find the Burly Bear inside to the right of the hole we make.

Full Moon:

Key Sword: To collect our next Animal Orb, we need a bit of setup. Go to the Animal Ark & have the Cardinal as your companion. Go to Full Moon now & fight your way up the first hill to where you get to a ladder & a hut. Climb up the ladder & approach the second one with another hut nearby it. At this second hut, if you have the Cardinal with you, it will enter the hut & return with the Key Sword so we can collect it.

Blacksmith:

Animal Orb #25 – Beholder: Now that we have the Key Sword, go to the Animal Ark & head to the very far end of it to see that locked door. Strike the lock using the Key Sword, & the lock will fall off. Enter inside & we can find the Beholder.

Insane Store:
After we completed the game for the first time, we will unlock two brand new Levels found in a crater below where the Barbarian Boss Level is located. Beside the Insane Mode Campaign, we can find the Insane Store.

The Weapons for sale here are pretty powerfully, but unsurprisingly, they are insanely expensive!

Animal Orb #26 – Pelter: We can purchase the Pelter Animal Orb for 1100 Gold!

Animal Orb #27 – Dragonhead: The Dragonhead Animal Orb is also worth 1100 Gold.

This gives us a grand total of 2200 Gold that we have to grind for, which is tedious. Beat the Barbarian Boss at least 22 times for the required Gold…

Achievement #6 – Animal Handler: Collect all 27 Animal Orbs.
If you have been following along with the guide, we will unlock this Achievement after collecting or purchasing the final Animal Orb.

This is the last Achievement we needed to earn for our first playthrough…

Barbarian Playthrough:

Achievement #7 – Traitor: Defeat any Boss by playing one of his own minions.
If you completed the King’s Arena during your first playthrough, you will have unlocked the Barbarian as a playable Character.

Begin a new game & start as the Barbarian. Complete Levels Home Castle, Castle Keep, Barbarian War, & of course Barbarian Boss. If you defeat the Barbarian Boss while playing as the Barbarian, we will unlock this Achievement. Most Bosses have a minion counterpart we can play as & then defeat to earn this Achievement; the Barbarian is just the fastest & easiest way to do so…

The Achievement will unlock as soon as the Boss dies…

66% Complete
Sequence 6: Band of Brothers
1. Online Co-op Playthrough: 2-4 Players
2. Achievements: 11/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For all Online related Achievements, feel free to ask for help/partners in the Comment Section of the Guide listed below.

Online Co-op Playthrough – 2 Players Minimum:

Achievement #8 – Conscientious Objector: Complete the Home Castle through Barbarian Boss areas without attacking any foes.
This Achievement is only possible if you have at least one other Player with you to kill all the enemies. Party up with someone, & have them kill enemies (including the Barbarian Boss) while you… do nothing. You cannot damage an enemy at all for this whole run. Simply evade all enemies & let the other Player(s) do the work.

If done correctly, you will unlock this Achievement after the Barbarian Boss is defeated… & the other Player(s) have defeated you for the Princess at the end.

Achievement #9 – Kay Eye Ess Ess: Collect all 4 Princesses' kisses in a multiplayer game.
Playing with at least one other Player, beat through the entire Campaign & when you must duel to kiss each of the Princesses, you must be the one that wins. All you really have to do is load up Barbarian Boss, Cyclop’s Fortress, Ice Castle, & Final Wizard Boss with another Player. Beat the Level, then defeat the other Player in the duel at the end to kiss the Princess.

Online Co-op Playthrough – 4 Players Minimum:

Achievement #10 – Medic!: In a 4 Player game, resuscitate each of your fallen comrades at least once.
Naturally, this Achievement must be done with a full party of you & three other Players. This can be earned on any Level & could be done in a few minutes if that is the purpose of your party. Simply find an enemy & have them incapacitate Players & take turns reviving one another to unlock this Achievement; you must revive all 3 Players in your game to unlock this Achievement.

Arena Online:

Achievement #11 – Arena Master: Win 40 Arena Online Matches.
This is actually easier than it sounds, as it can be boosted with one other Player. Select Online Multiplayer, Arena, then host a Play With Friends game; the odds of you matching with other Online Players is highly unlikely. There are 4 different game modes you can choose from: Melee, Quick Draw, Treasure Hunter, & Beefy. Melee is the quickest to do as all you have to do is defeat your Friend 40 times.
Sequence 7: Back Off Barbarian
1. Achievements: 12/12
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back Off Barbarian:

Achievement #12 – The Final Countdown: Survive until 2:30 in a Back Off Barbarian match.
For our next Achievement, we will need to select the Back Off Barbarian game mode from the Main Menu; who you play as really doesn’t matter. For this game mode, you need to use your button prompts to navigate the board – if an enemy catches you, it is game over. The Maps we play on are also random as well. Enemies will progressively begin spawning after 30 seconds have past. From 1:30 onwards the enemies will speed up & things get much harder.

If you are using a Controller, I recommend using the D-Pad to match the arrows rather than the buttons to match colours. As well, if you are in a pinch, you can rotate the left stick to auto-move for you which might save you! However I very strongly use a Keyboard if you have that option & use the Arrow Keys! This is infinitely easier on your brain.

For each Map, you want to plan out a large route & then stick to it; if you move around blindly, there is a very good chance you will get stuck in a corner & caught. This game mode will definitely take quite a few runs for you to get the hang of & for you to memorize different runs on each Map. Some Maps are easier than others; I found the Ice Worlds & Forest Worlds to be the easiest to get long circuits around the Maps. The key to the circuits is it gives you a way to group the enemies together & you can safely run around the Map. If you spawn on a Map you know isn’t ideal or you don’t like, don’t waste time on it & just get yourself killed to respawn.

After you have your circuit figured out – stick to it. Focus on simply looking at what the tile prompt is ahead of you & don’t even look at the Barbarians or you will probably psych yourself out. Focus on your line, don’t even look at the clock.

Once you begin memorizing Maps & how the game works… 90% of your deaths will frustrating be by accident or by panicking. If you ever find yourself in a pickle where you think you are for sure going to die, spam all the buttons to hop to any available tile. If you are quick & can recover, you may be fastest enough to somehow get out of being crushed… other times you’re just delaying the inevitable. Also do not be afraid to reverse the direction of your circuit; especially near the 2:00 minutes mark, reversing your circuit can really help break up the enemies.

This can also be done with multiple Players as well in Online Multiplayer which may or may not make things easier. With multiple Players, if you are they get squashed, you have the chance of reviving them by collecting a Health Potion that spawns on the Map. Note however that if you cannot be revived or revive your Friends before the timer runs out, it is an instant game over which is the biggest drawback to playing this with other people, so keep that in mind…
Conclusion:
Castle Crashers is a game close to my heart & I have sunken quite a few hours into it back during my time on Xbox. Barring Back Off Barbarian (which I still need to personally earn at the moment) 100% took me only 16 hours to complete. It is very short, but very fun.
