Extra:

Insta-kill skill:
After reading Way of Fury: Issue #1-3 you will unlock the "Five Finger Fury Attack" in the Physical perk, this skill can instantly kill monsters (no boss monsters obviously), it has a high cooldown of 400 turns and a high cost of 8 adrenaline


Personal experience
First and foremost, the experience explained below could potentionaly contain spoilers, so be warned.




When I tried the "Nightmare" difficulty with soldier on 1st try without any tutorial and any lore or context I failed hard, I progressed to slow and I fixed to much focus on research, in time I was stuck at B05 since monster level was around 6 or 7 and my Nickel grade weapons could not handle that.

2nd try I tried to rush it a bit more, paid less attention on resource research, more on weapon research, I kept pace until B07 where I again fell behind, my lack of knowlegde from the missions and upgrade locations made me backtrack alot what failed the run.

3th try I finaly succeeded the run by again rushing with focus on weapon research, now with knowledge from the missions I could prepare alot beforehand what spared me alot of time and resources, buying me the time I needed, in the end I ended up in B07 again but this time I could reasonably manage, therefore I took the risc of taking the train solo and try to kill the endgame without knowing what was waiting for me, and that mindset almost costed me the run, with not enough ammo I took a mixed aproach.

I was running a rifle build wich gave me the most succes (in the 1sth run I tried meele,1h and 2h), but at the HQ the rifle started to fail, dealing only 20-30 dmg to 250 hp enemy's that can swarm you, so lucky enough my 2nd weapon was the "Masamune" 2h blade that could save me alot of ammo and chip off the enemy's one by one by luring them in a room and closing the door, after the battle the bones where shattered, and i healed them at the many beds at HQ.

After this sluggish progression I managed to get to the endboss where I was presented with two choices, fight the AI or fight the alien with help from the AI.
1) No option at this point, the AI's robot screds you into pieces before even chipping away 25% hp
2) No option because of the nano monsters the boss spawns, the boss itself was doable, but at the same time getting battered by two or more nano monsters(can either be the ranged or meele variant) is not doable, even if you kill them, the next turn the boss resurects them.

So I went for option three, finding the cheese, and yes I found cheese at the alien boss, when you take the elevator up to the boss, in the area whence you spawn, in exact the lower right corner of the elevator platform, the boss won't spawn the initial nano monsters, so when you initiate the boss fight, run straight for this spot and skip a few turns until the boss is in range for the rifle and then shoot away, if the boss teleports out of range, then again, skip some turns until he is back, keep repeating this proces until the boss is dead.

Final conclusion of this "Nightmare" run:
-Character level was around 30-32
-Lithium grade rifle (Experimental rifle) with at least 150+ ammo
-Lithium grade armor (Experimental set)
-2nd weapon Masamune or Wolf's fang + shield, both weapons have a double attack skill with a fairly low cooldown, verry handy to preserve ammo and chipping at hard enemy's, it saved the run at the HQ by picking the nano monsters one by one
-Used no nano modules, to expensive and don't realy give extreme benefits, the belt give 1 armor tough
-ALOT of healing items, some bandages, the meele variant of the nano monsters cause bleeding damage on ocassion
-Nearing Floor B06 I started to make barriers, they are cheap and durable with 350+ hp/piece, monster AI tends to attack the object that is the most close to it, they can buy the time you need for the invasion

Worth mentioning:
In the end of the run I noticed in the bow skill that there is a perk called "Piercing Shot", this could potentionaly make the game less punishing on a nightmare run since monsters have extremely high armor, also the perk "From the Shadows" looks promissing, making your shots potentionaly a stealth one

Also I noticed the riffle's or any other gun tend to either jam alot or miss, while the bow only has a slightly higher chance to miss.

Potentional buggs:
I experienced a few buggs trough the game, all related to missions.

-The mission "Visual prototype" bugged out, even tough I collected all items (Glass pane, High cap battery and the processor), on the 4th run (Achievement cleanup run) I saved before accepting the quest, I already found a High capacity batter that was hidden in the area before the 1st undergound mine, I kept this one, I went to the market and picked up the glass and made the pane and then the processor, this worked for me.

-Can't exactly remember the other buggy missions but the cause was fairly simple, I fast traveled to the NPC and somehow this broke the mission, the fix is just to reload a previous save

In the end it is safe to say to save before accepting a mission and try to finish it ASSAP, if this is not possible like the meditation mission that started for me at B07 and requires the insense at B10, then keep that save in a slot for the time being

In general I had alot of fun playing this game, even tough I failed a few runs.
