LIM Kore Outpost | Survival-Ready Mobile Station

During initial exploration into this new system the Everdawn refugees found themselves in, a new type of outpost was required that was easier to produce and maintain than the Blackburn, but also highly mobile so that they could be produced at a shipyard and sent out with the ability to move around in case of attack or relocation towards newer goals.

Filling this capability gap is the Kore. With its onboard jump drives, it can head out into interplanetary space without the need of docked tugs and set up shop entirely by itself. It holds a modest 3 large hydrogen tanks and 3 large cargo containers, but no filling-up is technically necessary when leaving port - just set it off. Its onboard solar panels and oxygen farms should be sufficient for sustaining a crew in the case that they run out of uranium fuel, drastically extending the service life of the spaceframe if logistical support happens to be cut off even temporarily.

Its intended use-case is to send out to a predetermined location and service any ships or shuttles in the area, it even features an open-plan visitor quarters for freight crews to stop by while they're being refueled or delivering supplies.

The Kore also features part of the Callisto's computer core, with an automated defense system that warns when enemies are spotted by the station's sensors and ensures the safe zone shield is online ready to be activated by a crewman.
