Story
Before you join the world of 4Story, you should have a good understanding about the historical background that is fundamental to every encounter you will be facing. And to better understand the story, it can be explained in four different stages in the timeline: the Age of Creation, the Age of Settlement, the New Era and the Age of War.

<The Age of Creation: About 3000 before Queen Blid Blonead>
At the time when heaven and earth were not separated and there were no beginnings and ends, Leya the goddess with light and hope pursued the value in harmony and life while the other god, Bergelius did not. The antagonism between the two gods exploded in a form of war in which the goddess lost and brought herself into imprisonment under Bergelius. However, even in the darkness, she generated the interaction between heaven and hell which now we call day and night. Upon her creation on water, air and fire, the goddess created various continents, vegetation and diverse creatures in the world – one of the continents was given the name “Andaron” which was the beginning of Iveria.

However, even under the protection of the eight protection gods commanded by Leya, the Mu – the inhabitants – were convinced to be the part of the Reign of the Shadows by Parakelius sent by Bergelius to threaten the peace created by Leya. The major flood created by the eight protection gods swept the evil beings and at the same time, left the few survivors with no choice but to find their new habitats in the island Britron. The tragedy did not stop as Parakelius turned the survivors into beasts which later formed themselves into the Rahu – the militant tribe of the island.

<The Age of Settlement: CA. 3000 – 0 before Queen Blid Blondead>
Bergelius became the ruler of the Rahu and gained power over Andaron with the use of the dragon Kameria and black-winged demons. Countless inhabitants lost their lives under the harsh ruling of Bergelius.

In Andaron, there were several clans and they were Werebeasts, Humans, Fairies and Elves. While Parakelius was convincing the inhabitants to join the force, some did not fall for it and they gained themselves with the title of the Mu clan. The alternative title for the Elves was the Bon-Tuna clan and they were against accepting changes and valued traditions. As hundreds of years went by, the Werebeats and the Mirhur clan – the alternative title for Fairies became alliances with each other. Also with the Humans – the Parholn clan, these clans could not avoid fighting against each other over their conflicts and yet, they had the common idea that the only way to survive was to get along for the peace. And later, these clans resisted together against the Rahu. Such a peaceful period of time could not last long enough after the sword Krawendyn full of dark powers appeared and led them to battles.

The battles lasted until the sword was finally destroyed by the eight protection gods of Leya, however, once they caused another flood to wipe the regions, the result left the survivors with no choice but to live a nomadic life. And yet, the complete peace did not come to the world.

<The New Era: 0 – 85 after Queen Blid Blondead>
The world entered a new era by the foundation of the kingdom “Iveria” by Queen Blid Blonead. Overcoming the difficulties in the beginning of the foundation, the defense of the kingdom was built stronger and life had improved for the people. However, even during such a peaceful moment, there was a rise of military tension between regions of Iveria which had to be solved with, after the involvement of the Queen, dividing the kingdom into different regions. The Rahu once again invaded, threatening the peace with the power of horror. Under the dark times, a heroic warrior Arian Horus succeeded in gathering troops to fight against the dark force of Bergelius, throwing them out of the kingdom, however, the hero and the Queen dropped from sight of everyone.

<The Age of War: 85 after Queen Blid Blondead - Present>
The Age of War is the age continuing in the present time. After the mysterious missing of the two figures, the kingdom had no more royal offspring and could not avoid the division into four territories. The rulers of the four territories were Neban Maha, Ruard Lopesa, Edgar Seher and Uma Plutak. These four advisors from the missing Queen, instead of peacefully leading the regions, sought for more power and eventually resulted in Edgar Seher leaving to the southern area where he established “Broa”.

To fight against the government, the rebellious troops with Armin of Remperd as the leader occupied the city of Lezina. However, even after the challenges, the historically recorded incident occurred – “The Night of the Black Moon Massacre” where about 20,000 rebellious soldiers lost their lives to the government force. The leader survived through the massacre but for this particular incident, there is an unclarified rumor about Arian Horus, suspecting his involvement.

While Broa was under King Tristan’s rule, Ruard Lopesa – one of the rulers – ended up taking over the territory in the east “Craxion” and meanwhile, “DeFugel” was handed over to Neban Maha. These two figures differed from each other in their ideologies. To the ruler of Craxion of the eastern territory, the possession of power was more valuable over the people’s welfare, whereas, the ruler of DeFugel of the Western territory sought more value in providing needed support for the people and organizing a faithful military force with valuable discipline. These two rulers, while Broa invested more on mercenary, were unable to stop the military tension against each other as they both insisted themselves to be the emperors. An unexpected war broke out when Neban Maha killed the men who were ordered directly by Ruard Lopesa to visit the kingdom to collect taxes. Ironically, this war that broke out due to the taxes, laid a burden on the people of DeFugel as Neban Maha tried to collect more taxes from them to invest in his military force.

The long fight finally came to a pause upon the co-agreement from both sides after the military force of Craxion had failed to dominate the capital castle of DeFugel. Another military tension broke out as the ruler of DeFugel suspected that there was support provided from Broa for Craxion, and ordered to attack, however, shortly after the king of Broa confirmed his kingdom’s stance to be neutral once again, the force of Craxion retreated. However, this incident triggered Broa to build their army in the end.

Yet, Broa succeeded in protecting its stance between the two kingdoms and surviving as a trading partner for both at the same time. Despite the co-agreement to pause the war, the tension was not completely solved between the two kingdoms, creating a border and disbanding their trading relationship. However, after another ceasefire between the two kingdoms, they re-established their trade and started making profits in natural resources, tools (DeFugel), magic potions (Craxion), etc.

New military forces are being organized by the two kingdoms even at this point and no one has any clue on when this unstable peaceful moment can be broken once again.

For certain mounts including the White Buffalo, there is a limited time of use with an expiry date - they need to be renewed on a regular basis with additional payment to continue the possession.

There will be mounts of the same kind with however, different colors. Such differences in their appearance do not make any difference in the level of their performance.

*In the images shown above, Archer is the selected class.
Title
As you begin your journey in the world of 4Story, you will reach countless achievements through your progress in the game. To appreciate your achievements, you will be continuously given with honorable “titles” that will display above your character name. Titles will be symbols of your reputation to show your success to the world.

Once achievements have been completed, you can open your character info window and bring yourself to the Title section. You must claim your desired titles once you’ve satisfied all of the required conditions. You may keep multiple acquired titles in your possession (displayed on the list of Acquired Title) however, only one title will be displayable to other players at a time.

A: Registered Title
B: Acquired Title
C: List of Titles and Conditions
Economic Activity

You have every right to sell your own items for a certain price or even put them for auction to make profits! You can easily register your selling items in the auction list and earn money.

Likewise, you can purchase certain items from others as you might need them to upgrade your items or for your own satisfaction. Once surprising fact is that you can also make profits by selling your items to the merchants! They would be happy to pay to acquire your items.

You may also sell your items in your possession at your private shop, however, the items you wish to sell must be tradable. It is possible to distinguish between tradeable items and untradeable items as the availability is indicated in the description of your items.

The other option is to obtain money and items through quests and PVP contents such as: Mission War or Territory War. At times, you will receive game money directly as your reward, however, items such as: Essence of Health or Essence of Mana will be rewarded instead. No matter - you can make profits by selling them eventually. The choices are yours because the items are all yours.

Storage

There will be occasions where you will feel that certain items of yours are not necessary to possess and yet, do not want to sell to anybody. You can always store your unnecessary items at storages(accessible through the options A and C in the image). You will be able to organize better with your items and carry only the ones that I feel necessary while the stored items will stay safely.

One thing to note is that some acquirable items that you will encounter are sealed from time to time - meaning that you will not be able to open them unless you use the help of an Elf Sorcerer. Select the option B in the image then you will be automatically directed to the nearest elf sorcerer around you. Register your item and request them to unseal it for you!

Control & Interactions
Beyond the arrow keys for moving(W: Forward/S: Backward/A: Turning to left/D: Turning to right/Q: Moving to left/E: Moving to right), it is important to be aware of the other essential controls. As well, please keep in mind that it is always open for you to make modifications to the control settings in the way that you would want.

Interactions / Targeting and Combat:
You can set target on your chosen NPCs by pressing F or the tab button. Once your target has been set, you can press 1 or F to perform your attacks on the targeted NPCs. Your character will start running toward the targeted NPCs until it has gotten into the range of its capable reach. Once your character arrives in its reach range, it will automatically start attacking. You can also see the title of the chosen NPCs with their HP.

As well, clicking on your chosen NPCs will also set your focus on them with double clicks on them, your character will start attacking them. On the other hand, in order to interact with NPCs which you cannot attack, for example, merchants, and with objects in the area, example, portals, you cannot set target on them by pressing 1 or F - you would need to approach them and press F or double click them to begin interacting with them.

You can use skills in your possession with the shortcut keys correspondingly(the skill bars are located at the bottom of the gameplay screen). In the shown image below, the character has performed [Oblivious of Language] by pressing 6.

Motion:
You will run into moments where you need to make a quick turn to the other side instead of using both A(Turning to left) and D(Turning to right) which can be, at certain points, slow and time consuming. Try pressing N - it will let you turn 180 degrees instantly. You may also press B and V to make your character sit to let them get rest and also to walk slowly.

Map (in addition, portals):
The world map(hotkey: m) is useful not only when you need to figure out the location of yourself but also when you have a designated location to arrive and yet, have difficulties in finding the correct routes or directions to get there. Once the map has been displayed, you will see the following world map.

Upon your selection on the specific area of the world map, you will be able to see the zoomed-in version of the area. Your character will automatically start moving toward the designated location of your choice by simply clicking on the location.

Another very crucial aspect of the game in terms of the transportation is: the portal which is famous to teleport you quickly to the designated location. Approach a portal nearby yourself - you will be able to see the list of the spots to which the portal can teleport you.

Mission War
Refreshed every 2 hours

Mission War is a competition war on a small scale between the kingdoms. The mission areas are separated into every 10 levels and the war takes place by the rotation of the missions numbered with even numbers and odd numbers alternately. This is the content where you can challenge and compete against other players of the relatively similar levels as you - therefore, you will be able to test yourself by participating in the missions war.

Once players reach level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70, they would automatically receive (you could also purchase them from Document Seller near War Portal or sometimes, monsters you hunt in the fields drop them) - think of them as your tickets to the mission wars.

Approach the Strategy Commander at the capital castles to receive the quests and move to the War Portal.

Once you arrive at the mission area and win the war, you will receive a certification of participation to bring to the Strategy Commander for rewards. You will receive 115% of hunting experience point buff and the rate buff of the dropped magic items in the mission area - these are valid until the next war begins within 2 hours. Even if you have not participated directly in the war, you can still receive the same benefits by entering in the mission area(of your nation).
Territory War

Here comes our popular war - TERRITORY WAR. Although a single player who is not registered in any guild, can join Territory War, they would not be able to receive any rewards even upon their victory. They can apply to become a mercenary for a guild and fight for the guild of their choice - they would then be able to benefit from participating in this war upon their victory. However, if the territory for the war is in the southern front( Geburah, Taikonteroga), the player must belong to the southern front and vice versa.

In order to participate in Territory War, a player must join their nation or a guild at the territory. The participants will be divided into the attackers and defenders - should the attackers not be able to satisfy the requirements for victory, the territory will belong to the defenders.

Once players join the war upon the notification of the war, the two entrances for the war will be closed and a chief gatekeeper will appear with guards. Once the chief gatekeeper is defeated by the attacking players, the entrance will be open. The guardian of the territory will then show up in the territory and players must defeat the guardian as a step to go forward their victory. The guardian, once defeated, will turn into Guardian Spirit of Para - the final enemy for players to defeat for the great victory. The territory will be under the force of the winning team until the next territory war begins in the same territory.

The guild master of the winning team will be given with the Certification of Northern/Southern Boundary Commander and the rest of the team members will be given with the Certification of Participation Northern/Southern War. These certifications are needed to exchange with consumable items and game money from Boundary Commanders at capital castles.

Sacred War
Sacred War is held in the identical areas of Territory War as there is 1 castle located in each of the territories. The guild members can enter first to fight in Sacred War at the castle located in the territory. Non-guild members can enter starting 10 minutes before the war initiates.

Participating players will be divided into the offensive side and defensive side. Once the war in which you have participated, ended in advance, you may then participate in the other sacred war taking place in another territory.

The guilds that have been categorized as the offensive side and defensive side, may participate in the war regardless of the number of participating players. Non-guild members can enter in the war depending on the number of the number of the players of the enemy side.

Players whose nationality is Broa, must first support either Craxion or DeFugel in order to participate in the war.

Two of holy treasures are given to both sides - 1 player can carry only 1 treasure at a time. Should they die in the middle of carrying around the treasure, or exceed five minutes the maximum duration of being able to hold onto the treasure, the treasure returns to its original location. Once the treasure has been carried safely, install it and take over the area to achieve victory! The guild master will receive Oracle’s Voucher and the rest of the members will receive Pontifex’s Voucher to bring over the priest in their guild house.

Aerial War-Sky Garden Avalon

Any player with a nationality is able to join this war on a large scale between kingdoms, through the portal to Castle Ruins. The starting area is split into two sides: attackers and defenders.

In two of the starting areas, there will be Emperor: Luad Lopesa and Lion King: Neban Maha with defending monsters as three of the areas will be guarded by the stronghold guardians. The defensive side is in charge of the stronghold guardians to start with, however, once they are killed by the attackers, the ownership will switch - meaning that the area will be occupied by the opponents.

Should the Emperor or the King be killed, the monster Guardian appears. The side defeating this Guardian achieves the great victory of the war. However, if the Guardians of both sides remain alive until the end of the war, the side with more areas that they have occupied, becomes the winning team!
Coliseum
This competition is divided into two different events: Incarnation of Palkenhein and Knights of Goddess. A player cannot apply for a single-play or a party-play (one at a time).

Once the participants for Coliseum have been selected and sorted out, the process of party formation initiates. The selected participant who has directly applied for the party-play, will become the party master and recruit 6 members to join Coliseum together. Except for the final Coliseum battle which lasts for 15 minutes, the other battles will be completed within 10 minutes.

Once the battle begins, every possesses skill will be reset and usable. After the first 10 second-countdown, players can start attacking the opponents. Nobody can join the battle in the middle - whoever has arrived late, will be considered that they’ve given up on the battles.

Even though the HP drops to 0, the player will resurrect. If they make the other players unavailable to attack, they will receive +1 point, and players with higher points will gain victory.

If the points match with the opponents, the players who have spent less time in hiding, will be the winners. Even if the time spent in hiding is identical, they will be using a dice to decide on the winner. After the battles, the winners would move onto the next stage while the players who have lost will move to a S-level lounge.
Duel Arena
The Duel Arena is located on the first floor of the Thebekut Royal Castle. Depending on the number of players to participate, the competition will be divided into 3-person party-play or 7-person party-play. Once the recruitment for the members to participate is completed, a player can pay to the NPC and apply: 50 Luna for 3-person party-play and 100 Luna for 7-person party-play.

The team which has entered the arena faster than the other team on the 10 second-countdown, will be the blue team while the other will be the red team.

Although the consumable items will not be tolerated during the competition, every possesed skill will be reset with all buff effects being gone. The team with more alive members will win - should the number of alive members be identical, they would start a re-match. The winning team will receive, as the reward for their victory, the entry fee paid by the other team which they have defeated.
Battle Arena

Beside your challenges on quests, in the world of 4Story, you can also compete against other players at Battle Arena(accessible through the options B and E(War Portal) in the image above).

And of course, it is possible to gather your own team members to fight as a team and strengthen your fellowship together. Win not only to test your strength but also to receive rewards for your achieved victory!

You are always encouraged to fight in the war even in situations where you are facing opponents with more strength, skills and experience than you, because you will still be given with the reward for participating in the competition.

Additionally, you can also make investments on your victory for more achievements. The right column of the “Enter Battle Arena” window(in the image above), is where you can use your paid medals for more rewards. It is your decision to pay your medals on your possible achievement.

Challenge your opponents and see how strong you are!

Battle of Worlds [Guide in Progress]
Battle of Worlds is a new war content.
It is a world where wars between different worlds are happening all the time.

Image 1

Unlike the previous Battle Ground content where the war was happening in small groups,
the wars in the Battle of Worlds will be happening in mass groups of 25 to 49 players.
By doing this, players will be better representable for their guilds, servers or better yet themselves.

Image 2

When you enter the Battle of Worlds, you will be wearing the same equipment worn in the
Battle Ground. All item upgrade levels will be the same as your gears in the real rpg world.
However, you will not be able to bring in the Mounts.
The chatting will only be allowed within the same room.

Image 3

The Battle of Worlds can be entered using the same code name registered at the Battle Ground.
For those who have not created the code name at Battle Ground, new window will pop
up to create the code name. As in the Battle Ground, once the code name has been created,
it will not be changeable.

Image 4

Once the Battle of Worlds time arrives, "Battle of Worlds" icon will appear for 20 minutes.
Clicking on the icon will allow the Battle of Worlds UI button to pop up. 1st Matching will
progress for 15 minutes. There will be a 2nd matching for 5 minutes for those who failed
to match up at the 1st matching. After the end of the matching, there will be a 5 second
count down before entering the battle zone.

Image 5

This is the button that appears after clicking on the "Battle of Worlds" icon. If the matching
does not occur after the set time has passed, the button will disappear.
The application will be automatically canceled if the character ends its connection during the
application time. Players will not be able to participate in the Battle of Worlds and the Battle
Ground at the same time as well. The war will progress in a Defugel vs. Craxion form.
The players will be placed on the same side if their kingdom is the same.

So this will be a 49 vs. 49 and at the most and 25 vs. 25 at the least and Defugel Alliance against
Craxion Alliance; all players with the same kingdom from different servers will be placed on the same side.
If for some reason, one side fails to make 49 participants and is over 25 players,
the other side will automatically be matched with the same number of players.

Image 6

1st Matching
The 1st matching will progress for 20 minutes and it will be done among the guild members.
The guild with the bigger group will be grouped first. The grouping will progress until the group
becomes 25 or more players. The grouping will be based on the character`s guild, kingdom, server.
If the number of players in the group is 25 or more and the numbers are the same as the other group, the battle will begin.

2nd Matching
The 2nd matching will begin after the 1st matching ends. This will progress for 10 minutes and
will consist of individual players. All guild members will also be considered as individual player
during this matching process. The purpose of this matching process will be to increase the group
number to 25 players or more. If each group has equal number of players and has 25 or more
players, the war will begin immediately. Broan players with no supporting Kingdom will not
be able to join. Those with the supporting kingdom will be joining their supporting kingdom.

Image 7

Rules
The war will progress for 40 minutes.
There will be one boss monster summoned on each side and will resummon 3 minutes after its death.
Each side will begin with 5 points and for each boss monster kill there will be an addition of 1 point
and deduction of 1 point on the other side. The war will end when one side reaches 10 points.
The rewards will be sent to the real world upon your return.

Image 8

BP
The BP will be acquirable just like in Battle Ground. The player will start with 500 BP and
acquire 10 BP per 10 seconds. For every kill of players or Guardians, the player will get 20 times
the acquired special points. There also will be a shop where players can buy special items.

Special Points
Parties with the most damage given will earn 20 Special Points.
If a hit kills the opponent player, the player who hit the last hit will receive 5 Special Points.
The members of the same party will receive 2 Special Points each.
If a party member kills the opponent, the other members within 20m will earn a kill count.
For every 500 BP, there will be 1 Special Points given.
The kill count will not stack up during death mode.
When the war ends, a scoreboard with the individual and guild ranking will be shown.
Each ranking will be based on the Special Points earned.

Image 9

There will be a resurrection cool time when a character dies. Instant Resurrection may
allow you to resurrect without any cool time and side effects. If you don`t use Instant Resurrection,
you will then be resurrected at the base resurrection spot with resurrection side effects.

Click on the Information button to see the ranking information during war time.

Reward System
The rewards will be given according to the game score. Please see below on the details.

Mentor (not available yet)
FUTURE CONTENT - NOT AVAILABLE YET

Once you’ve reached Lv.90, you can become a mentor for up to 30 of players of levels in between 1 and 59; however, a mentee is allowed to hold one player only as their mentor. The mentor, depending on how much they have contributed to their mentee until reaching up to Lv.60, will receive rewards accordingly - when the time comes, the relationship comes to an end and of course, they are free to break the relationship even before. In such cases, the mentor must take the risk of their accumulated mentor point being reset to the beginning.

Once a player attempts to register another player as their mentee, the possible mentee will receive the following message asking them for their co-agreement. They have the right to refuse - should the refusal happen, the relationship will not be established.

Upon the co-agreement of both sides, the relationship will be established, notifying both the mentor and the mentee and registering them together under the Mento section of the Community window.

Once the party is created and the mentor activates mentor status, the mentor’s level will modify itself based on the level of the mentee with the lowest level. For instance, if the mentor plays with mentees of levels in between 10 and 19, the mentor’s level will change to Lv.19. Once the mentor status is activated and the mentor plays with mentees, every EXP acquired by the mentor will be applied to the mentees instead.

At the moment when a mentee reaches Lv.90, the mentor will receive the [Petty Master] title and the mentor-mentee relationship will be disbanded.

The below is a table for the rewards for the mentor system. The mentor point is the contribution rate for the EXP acquired through monster hunting/quests in a party setting(with mentor and mentee together) among the total EXP for a mentee to reach level 60.

4Story Battleground Content Revealed

New PvP Battleground Map

Today we take a look at the upcoming 4Story new PvP contents, a content much similar to LoL or DotA, code name Battleground. This new PvP map will be accompanied by 2 Hot and Cold raid dungeons, 8 hunting grounds, tons of new items and awesome new monsters.

The battleground will have two sections. Red and Blue. The goal of the game will be to drive the 3 foothold guardians in the middle to the opponent's territory to the point of incineration as the foothold guardian. The team to incinerate one guardian will score one point. The team with a total of 2 points will win the war.

The war will also be a server to server match. This feature, thanks to popular demands from the players, will enable players to fight for their guild, server, nation or a guild in a different server and nation. To join the battle, players will have to log in to a league server where a new match making system will help them find players to play with and record the scores they have achieved.

4Story Battleground Game Rules

The goal of the game will be to drive the three guardians in the middle to the opponent's territory. This will be very similar to playing a soccer game since the players goal will be to drive the central guardian to the opponent's territory. The guardian will only move along the black line, so smart moves are advised.

There will also be several obstacles, such as Towers, cannons and monsters, and, of course, the opponents will be waiting for them on the other side as well.

Ice Raid Zone

There will be hunting grounds to help players level up. The raiding dungeons, either hot or cold, will enable each team to power up, like some 5 or 10% additional attack powers to the team, so like most similar games, the smart move would be to conquer the hunting zone and the raiding zone first.

While most of items will be reset upon moving in from the local server to the Battleground server and all items earned will be reset as well upon moving out of the server, some attributes such as experience may be added to the characters in the local server for playing the Battleground game.

Stay tuned for more information.

4Story Sneak Preview : King’s Tomb

Ever since the first Battle Ground Map, there was a plan to launch yet another map, so players could have one map every three months. It looks like the time is now for 4Story to acquire a new arena. Like the first map, this map will also have cold areas and hot areas, and blue team and red team home base. The players who take possession of the raid zone will allow themselves some buffs or extra attributes. May be the titans will drop back by one line if you clear the raid zone, who knows.

The map it seems is going to take on a King’s Tomb theme. Much of the area of the map has yet to be revealed but here is a glimpse of what’s to come. You can see the majestic force flowing out of the chamber.

Can you guess what this area is?

New Ice Dungeon Battle Ground Map Coming to 4Story

One more new Battle Ground map will be released in the near future. This time, 4Story will introduce the Ice Dungeon, a world covered in ice.

Like the previous maps, they will have the same rules in which you will have to defeat the titans at the opponent's base two times to win the game. However, the whole dungeon appearance, the monsters and the dropped items will have a totally different look.

We have posted some of the new screenshots of the new Battle Ground map. Can you see which part is which?

4Story is also thinking of adding some new functions to Battle Ground to make the game more fun. What will be added is still yet to be determined, so it probably won’t be added to this new map.

Speaking of which, what new feature do you want to be added?
4Story Sneak Preview : Eerie Skies

Ever looked at the skies on Geburah and looked again at Chessed?
Think it is the same old sky?
Well, this is probably going to change after an update that is planned soon.
4Story will take on a whole new look after this update. See what is coming.

The skies will be undergoing some major changes in the distant future as they will be refitting in different colors and clouds depending on the region.
Some will have an eerie feeling while others give a more darker look.
There are even some devilish red color sky.
The war districts will have a more hellish feeling while the other lesser war zone will have a some what brighter but eerie feel.

See the images below and guess which map is which.
