Description
About
This addon improves combat gameplay by removing those awkward scenarios where you enter a room with all the NPCs having their back turned on you and optionally makes them start shooting faster.

Commands
rns_improvedreaction <0/1> (default 1)
Increases hostile civilian NPC reaction times by making them always have their weapon ready
Note that this feature isn't as effective if the NPCs are patrolling/moving

rns_customproficiency<-1/0/1/2/3/4> (default -1)
Sets how accurate NPCs are, -1 to not change, 0 for poor accuracy, 4 for perfect accuracy

Not sure why this addon affects combines exiting dropships or descending from grapples so I probably won't be able to fix this, however I will keep it in mind. Thank you for the feedback!

Not sure if it's known yet. But this completely breaks combine exiting from a dropships and descending from grapples. I know this probably wasn't intended for HL2 Campaign (What I tested it on). But this could effect NPC maps or any other addon that uses those actions.

Oh, forgot those ones existed, I ignore those cause they are low effort waste of workshop space.
I mainly use "HIM" and "Terminator" nextbots since one is hell of complex and the other one can't be spawned and is very very rare.

I was assuming the meme nextbots are considered objects? They don't behave like NPCs, they're more like moving jpegs

The heck are those two nonsensical things you two said.
Nextbot I play doesn't always look at me, sometimes it looks at the ground to pickup a weapon or throw it, open doors and sometimes flank the long way.
No clue where the "objects" part even comes from, that makes 0 sense to me lol

But since they aren't really NPCs and just objects then no right?
Thanks to this mod, combine don't need to take second look at rebel watching them
